The infrastructure of my college was too good
There are still some important infrastructure work going on in the college
Faculty was very friendly and the environment of the college was awesome

Course Curriculum Overview

The course was very easy sometimes and at times it was very different, there was nothing in between There were times when we use to have all theory subjects and then there were times when they used to give us 2 types of accounting subjects in a single semester Over all it was not that tough and the faculty was good and made it easy of the students to grasp the concepts.

Placement Experience

After 2nd year , in the initial days of 3rd year (5th sem)the students become eligible for sitting in the placements of the college. There were many companies who visited, some of them were Deloitte, decathlon , TravClan etc Approx 60% students got placed I want to give cat exam after degree

Fees and Financial Aid

In 1st year we paid total 7800/- In 2nd year we paid total 10200/- And in my 3rd year we paid total 10200/- same as in 2nd year. I got pm scholarship of 10,000 each year(1st , 2nd and 3rd year) in my last year there was increment in scholarship by 2000.

Campus Life

There are no great fests conducted by our college The library of our college was superb With top class facilities The college is more focused on the games like cricket, volleyball and basketball Athletics was not much considered in college The infrastructure was fantastic Be it classrooms , canteen or ground Everything was too good The societies of the college were very active And participated in many events.

Admission

As I wanted to opt for bcom course, Shaheed bhagat Singh college of Delhi University was always my one of the top choices This college holds top ranking when It comes to commerce department Another college which I opted was daulat ram college, but I couldn't make it in Daulat Ram as I couldn't clear the cutoff.

One teacher used to take class for 60 students at a time The faculty was very friendly There was some really good teachers Like anvi ma'am Most supportive and super sweet teacher we ever saw Then there were teachers who were miserable on students like gurpinder ma'am Sometimes we used to feel like she is having some sort of personal problems from students

LIFE AS A DU SOL STUDENT

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since it is open learning university..they couldn't give us time.. because the class also got started 1 month before exam...and teachers had to finish...the syllabus. But they don't really care about us. And syllabus I think is okay .. in Commerce. It is updated.

Overall College life experience.

Placement Experience:

After completing 4 semester you are eligible to sit into on-campus placements i.e. after completing your second year. Companies start to arrive in final year or pre final year of you're going for 4 year degree. Big 4 companies like Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PWC and other companies like accenture, zomato, airtel can be seen in placement season. Average package is 4-5 LPA ranging from college to college and depends individual skill set and practical experience. Highest could go upto 22LPA in our college. Half of the students gets placed during the season but not all. After competition of degree students can pursue various courses like CA, CS or praper for CAT/GMAT.

This college is not good enough for upgrading skill and knowledge.

Placement Experience:

SSNC have a placement cell which provides internship details and also shat company hiring details. 3rd and 4th semester students are eligible for internship Highest average package is approx 12 LPA and average price is approx 5LPA and actually I don't know which company give the highest and to whom.

Students get placements in the last semester before the last exams as per my knowledge the average package is 4 to 5 lpa and highest package was 15lpa . Not all the students get placed from the college only the one's with good skills and some experience about the work are chosen.

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Overall College life experience.

Along with Gargi college I chose some North campus colleges too because of high NIRF ranking . Due to high cut-off and belonging from a general category usually students are not able to crack north campus colleges. This is the main reason why competition is high and seats are less of we look at yearly registrations. You need to give CUET right after completing 12th standard in order to get into top ranked colleges. This college is not good enough for upgrading skill and knowledge.

I have applied many college such as IPU and other colleges of DU IPU have very costly and expensive fees structure where in DU have cheap. But DU addmission is based on CUET marks.
