Likes

teachers and the way they be freindly with students is what i liked.
and the college principal and vise principle who are no humble
classrooms and the technology used to teach

Dislikes

it should have been a bit more wide campus
cafteria and ground should have been even more developed
could have kept even more labs than 2-3 in each depy.

Course Curriculum Overview

i have chosen electronics and communications engineering, here this course has been from its establishment since 1982 and been a good course. even the faculties are experienced and the teaching method is also good overall.

Class Size: 62Course Fees: INR 215000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid 2lkh 15 thousand per year. tution fee includes all in this only. lab fee everything are included in it this is actually management fee which i have taken, other caste people can go with sc st and all. even i afforded this college becasue of its fee structure comapred to other colleges, mvj gave a good fee

Campus Life

campus life here is good, but if it was a bit more lengthy, i would have enjoyed, yearly technical and cultural fests are organised and all the students get an opportunity to participate. the clubs here keep conducting workshops, etc to keep students in a good phase.

Admission

i chose this college because it is near to my house, fee structure was affordable compared to other colleges i compare my colleges with different parameters are that here students are not being tiedup completely with academics rather given option of their own with many clubs and things which students can perform and earn their eligibility. i didn't choose other college because of its fee and the reviews

Fcauluties here are mid, many are freindly when it comes to teaching all the teachers give their best and do it . they often conduct workshops etc to keep stduents excited, as of now i have completed my first year, physics and chemistry cycle teachers have been good.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester we will get the placement assist .almost all mnc and top companies in india visits the college , namely cognizant ,oracle, tcs , infosys , capgemini , accenture , mu sigma , and many others along with startups . few companies offers direct fte roles, whereas few take students as interns and provide fte(full time employment).package will be between 3 to 36 lpa. rules during college placement drive are there will be 3 buckets , less than 7 lpa bucket 1 , 7-15 lpa bucket-2, above 15lpa bucket -3 , if a student gets any offer in specified bucket then he/she wont be eligible to apply for companies withe the salary range of that bucket. They provide international placement opportunities also , specially the zenken company collaboration , helps to get japan companies placement assist.

Placement Experience:

Generally I pefferd this college because of the college's reputation in placments . Students generally get placed into company's in 7th sem . Generally companies like TATA, IBM, Infosys, Amazon , Wistron, Accenture, Xoriant, Hp etc . generally 800 + students gets offers . Highest package is around 30+ Lpa and avearge package is 7 Lpa .MY plan is to try for both placements and also Gate examination

A Journey Worth Remembering

When I was selecting an engineering college I applied to several reputed institutions in Karnataka including Dayananda Sagar College of engineering Acharya institute of technology CMR institute of technology but I couldn't make it due to slightly higher cutoff in CET. I finally choose MVJ college of engineering because of its location infrastructure academic environment and placement opportunities. Situated in Whitefield it's close to several IT companies which is better and increases internship and placement prospects. The campus is spacious clean and well equipped with modern labs and facilities the college also has good reputation under VTU for maintaining academic decipline and quality teaching.
