Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Now the curriculum is new that is cbme competency based medical education Its good as it compels. Students to study and clinical exposure theres early clinical exposure but it is hectic and tideous theres a lot to write like logbook and all the curriculum should be more free

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Interniship is quite good 27300rs monthly theres enough patients but the workload is high with a lot to work shifts and overtime working so there is a lot to work and work environment is not very much good

Fees and Financial Aid

In the first year a course fee of 26260 has to be paid while taking the admission following year an amount of 25370 is to be paid to the college account this amount has to be paid for 4 years many scholerahips are available from government and provate to support for eg the Kerala govt provides egrants scholerahip which covers the full academic fee central govt provides mcm scholership of 30000 rs there are many other scholerships based of reservations amd income of student. Hostel the fee is 40rs per month for accommodation mess fee is different it is to be paid to the hostel depends on the hostel its differemt for mens hostel and ladies hostel both has an average of 3000 for mess fee.

Campus Life

4.5

Here there's a very good campus life annual arts and sports fest is there intercollge dance fest plasma intercollege sports fest vertigo the interbatch artsfest is the best its like a celebration woth more than 100 events also the interbatch sports. Theres a indoor stadium for badminton and basketball theres 3 football ground 1 cricket oval ground with pitch a volleyball courte kho kho courte and many more there 2 auditotiums one amphitheatre and many hangout spots many clubs like academic helath van adventure sports arts

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel rent is 40per month you'll only get a room nothing else everything has to be bought ourself but hostel is good room large with 2 student in one room mess is also food provides veg and nonveg the food is quite good everyday chicken is there mess dee is 110 rs daily. You need to request for hostel via hostel form im college office

Admission

I choose this college over others because here theres enough patients amd faculties good campus the infrastructure os very good also the the exam accepted is neet ug a good rank has to obtained its the third and fourth most opted college in kerala also here the stidents relationship is quite good and theres alot of activities here

Faculty

3.5

Faculty to student ratio is good as theres enough teachers available in all department also frequent inspection from nmc and kuhs occurs so theres enough doctors and they teach well most of them some are not good the relationship between faculties amd student is comparatively better in here one faculty i like is dr jijith of general medicine because of his kind behavior teaching and he is a good clinician. Faculty i dont like might be dr anita she wont teach much and usually scolds everyone Theres a total of 3 exams and a university exam first year and final year exams are tough 2nd and 3rd year are easily managable

Even though a bit tight and rushy, this is in fact the best curriculum provided and followed by all medical colleges in kerala. The frequency of exam is high and difficulty level is as same as that of KUHS. This provides relevant experience for the students to weite the university exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's always relevant to the content being taught by the teachers. They always use application based questions to prepare us for a real life situation as well. First aid training was also completed. Some of the teachers are very interactive while some not. Short exams are conducted on a weekly basis while internal exams are conducted every 2/3 months. Not that difficult but it isn't that easy either. Very strict checking, nothing is liberal.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is a pretty hard one i must say but the feeling of putting on a white coat and looking after patients is surreal and that's the main essence of the job. The curriculum is very vast but each subject is important in its own way. The exams are all conducted in such a way that there's enough time for us to prepare .
