Likes

Our senior are very friendly and very helpful The college are no ragging
Our teachers and staff are very good personality and they conducting programs and presentations
The college giving so many placements, last year some students get 8-10 Lakh per annul

Dislikes

The are no boundary, the college way using other people for walking
So many ponds and water fields are there but it’s more discomfort
Some teachers and staff are very bad and no useful

Course Curriculum Overview

Our course are easy but some subjects are difficult like 1st year maths in 2 semester ,physics and chemistry are difficult then 2nd year basically core subjects good easy to study then exam are different type all faculty are conducting test papers and a semester have 2 series exam this all exam in all semester

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 65000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The college club are give internships like IEEE and IDEC giving internships some program are giving cash for more working ,college are giving internships they coming so many companies, the internship task are coding and presentation are conducting

Placement Experience

In our college basically so many companies coming,recently my last year batch students most 90 percentage are placed in so many companies more than 10 student are place in TATA CONSULTANCY SERVICES they are got more 8 Lakh per annul its very best

Fees and Financial Aid

I have 65000 rupees fees,but I studying management and my some friends are state merit they are get fee concession, the merit fee for per year 50000,and some extra fee are there some sport and art fees,so many programs contacting our colleges ,and our teachers and staff are very friendly ,and main attractive one the college no ragging our senior are like friends and good atmosphere are college places

Campus Life

Currently am very happy and satisfied in this college ,basically program are not very expensive and big but enjoyable, so many club are there like IEDC, IEEE and NSS the club are conducting so many programs recently NSS conducted a charity food supplying challenge it is very good and successfully finished

Hostel Facilities

In our hostel is good more spaces we are comfortable, hostel warden is ex police man and good man and my hostel friend are like my brothers Hostel fees is 5300 per month and normal food not good ok to eat,all over good it's do not like a prison

Hostel Fee: INR 63000 per year

Admission

I applied to so many colleges I am not getting a seat in other colleges. I got seat this in spot admission first not satisfied in first look in college and the college program are very small and not good but I have good friends in my college and hostel currently am very happy,

Faculty

Our faculty are very friendly and useful they approaching our studies and give interaction,workout questions and study material sometimes they condecting test papers and presentations , our exam was very difficult so many different type questions are using the paper

OUR COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

CSE student at JEC

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.

Is engineering here worth it?
