Course Curriculum Overview

BSc forensic science is a very interesting course where you not only learn to find the main evidences and how to solve a crike but also about the law it's a mixture of material studying as well as human studying

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for BSc forensic science is roughly 1L/year Lot of scholarships are provided depending on which one you qualify for you can opt for that There's a scholarship which provides 10K off of the fees if you score 85% in all subjects of your course

Campus Life

The campus life is very lively, you'll always find students present even if it's 8 am or 9 pm There are a lot of clubs for the students to participate like dance, theatre, singing. some or the other event is always happening

I chose this college as it has very good lab facilities and the infrastructure is excellent The teaching staff is also well qualified I had to give an online interview to get into KJC They ask pretty simple questions related to your course, nothing complicated

There are around 500 faculties in total (for all the UG students), they are easy to approach and help you out we also have mentoring sessions where the teachers helps us with academic and personal problems. The exams are conducted twice a year midterms and end sem with practicals

At St Aloysius University, students typically become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester onward. Reputed companies like Infosys, wipro, TCS etc have visited the campus offering multiple roles in IT services, research and analytics. The highest package has been around 7-8 LPA while the average has been around 3-4 LPA depending on the company and the profile of the student. My honest review: College life, curriculum and career preparation

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate it around 8/10 for relevance and comprehensiveness. I chose this course because it offered solid foundational subjects that aligned with my interests. The curriculum prepares students well for higher studies and provides decent exposure to lab techniques. However, for real world readiness, it could be improved. Teaching methods are mostly theory-heavy and would benefit from interactive approaches. Exams are moderately difficult and conceptual clarity and regular revision helps in scoring well.

Placement Experience:

Students in their fifth and sixth semesters are eligible for the campus placement cell. Only 50 -60% of students get campus placement offers. I would get into post-grad courses like an MSc in physics.

We will be ready for placements from the 5th semester as we will be given training on interview skills in the 5th semester. There are many companies that visit colleges like PN Rao, Reliance, Tailorman, etc. There are good different profiles offered like merchandising, designing, retail with different packages offered from different companies. There is 100% placements assured from college also we get more options for interviews and companies. I got placed from college in Tommy Hilfiger after my degree.

I didn't actually choose this college. My plan was to go to a government college. But I just applied here and wished to get selected and I did. The admission process is fully online, from interview to paying fees. The eligibility is getting a percentage above 60 and no exams are required. You just need to attend the interview on the date asked by the college and they will ask you few questions, and after few days you will get selected based on the interview.
