Course Curriculum Overview

4

I personally wanted to become a CA so I took commerce and then I got to know that I can only get bcom programme because in school time I had no maths in 12th . My subject is very practical and there is very slightest of difference between bcom hons and programme. so it doesn't matter much.If you want to be in corporate please learn skills and keep doing internships if you're opting commerce which is very important.not every student is aware of these things and this will help you in interviews and college placements. I never found bcom subjects hard except income tax and corporate so these are not so hard but keep practicing you'll enjoy these subjects

Internships Opportunities

0.5

I've not done any internships and have no job experience yet because once i joined but the company working environment was so toxic then I never did any.But I'd suggest every one to enjoy your college days but please remember make it worth it for your future life.

Placement Experience

1

My College placement cell is good but in my batch honestly no one from Bcom got placed because of some kinda politics. As far as I know that my college placement cell has majority of bcom hons students in it .And in my opinion I feel the recruiters also prefer the hons students.

Fees and Financial Aid

I studied in Ramjas college. So, the fee structure was same for all of the students for every year. It was around 14,700 for me and all other students annually irrespective of the reservation and quota. And there is scholarship scheme like for students from J&K, they have PMSSS, it's a scheme of PM, which is only for Kashmiri students and students from Ladakh. Apart from that, National Scholarship Portal, NSP is also available there because it is for every other students. But they offer the scholarship amount as much as your college fees is, which was around 14,700. And there is some criteria for that scholarship that your family income should not exceed more than 1,50,000.And there is no more charges they charge

Campus Life

4.5

College focuses on everything especially sports .Ramjas is enthusiasts about sports such as basketball football and many more. They organise Many sports events every year which is very cherishing.I miss those days. And we have college fest Mosaic every year they invite celebrity singers or performers. Even for student development we have alumini meets and alot more

Hostel Facilities

5

Food is best you won't believe but yes better than average pgs which has monthly rent of 13/14 thousand Registration is easy you can download the application form from the website and apply you'll get it on merit basis As you enter our hostel, you'll notice our friendly hostel staff is available at the reception desk 24/7 to assist you with any needs or inquiries. Ramjas College Hostel offers room which is thoughtfully designed with comfortable furnishings, study desks, and ample storage space. Moving on to the common areas, we take great pride in our dining hall. Here, you'll savor a diverse menu of delicious and nutritious meals prepared to cater to various dietary requirements. It's not just a place to eat; it's a place to connect with fellow residents over a meal. Our recreation room is a favorite among students, offering a space to unwind with games, watch TV, or engage in lively conversations. It's a great place to build lasting friendships.

Admission

Yes in first round when there was no cuet exams for admission in 2021 when the admission was based on merit I first got daulat Ram college which is also a nice college.but then I wanted to study in coed college that's is the only reason I chose Ramjas. Now the scenario has changed I've no idea about new admission procedure of cuet.

Faculty

1.5

Faculty of Ramjas commerce department was sooo good but honestly there is some kind of discrimination we faced for Bcom programme and bcom hons the OG teachers prefer not to teach to bcom students which is very unfair .Even if there is any function or event they don't consider bcom students as their part to take initiative give any sort of assignment for the particular event.

Placement Experience:

After completing 4 semester you are eligible to sit into on-campus placements i.e. after completing your second year. Companies start to arrive in final year or pre final year of you're going for 4 year degree. Big 4 companies like Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PWC and other companies like accenture, zomato, airtel can be seen in placement season. Average package is 4-5 LPA ranging from college to college and depends individual skill set and practical experience. Highest could go upto 22LPA in our college. Half of the students gets placed during the season but not all. After competition of degree students can pursue various courses like CA, CS or praper for CAT/GMAT.

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.
