Opportunities for any task is given to every student.
Labs are good and sports activities are also good
Teachers are very good and perform there tasks very well

Dislikes

Interaction among students is less as expected.
Vehicle facility should be there so that if there is some important work of any person they can go and reach on time.
Dress should be there as not every student can afford a new cloth for daily wear

As I have mentioned before teaching staff is very good and explains us again and again so that we cannot face any difficulty they are strict during teaching sessions but at the same time they are very Frank also so that we can ask any doubt without any fear.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 23000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for mt course yearly is 50000 and all of the lab and class fees are included in it .there are no scholarships provided to us uptill now but some are expected soon as because of cgpa system. And fees are reduced for economically weaker sections.

Campus Life

Classroom contains smart boards and projectors whereasabs contains every possible experimental material which makes us easy to learn things other than this in other events like sports meet or some functions like freshers etc we enjoyed alot

Admission

Here in this college I have less distance from my home to travel whereas other universities are far and daily transportation is not possible there so I chose this for mt convenience and other than this aspect it has a good infrastructure and faculty which I think is sufficient for me.

Faculty of the university is very good as they always wants our advancement and they conclude the regular oral tests and after 2 months of semester mid terms are started and then after two months end terms are started which keeps us in touch with studies. Student who gets failed in the exam are given the second chance to improve there performance by taking 1000/- rupees fees .

I chose this course because I liked horticulture .This course is very well applied in real world in cultivation and growing of vegetables, fruits and flowers and horticulture also has job opportunities in private sector. There are some improvements like more practical learning, real world exposure etc. that could be made to make this course more effecgive in real world application. Tit bits about the agriculture university

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as my father had studied the same course and had the same profession that I'm aiming for. For improvements i would like to recommend more practicals rather than theory classes as, practical knowledge is just as important as theoretical knowledge. The frequency of exams is a problem. There is very less gap between examinations which makes it difficult to prepare for the vast subjects. Plus, the marking is strict, and the criteria to pass the exams are also complicated.

I applied for icar reservation through CUET examination through which I had a confirmed admission in GADVASU Ludhiana but, i preferred CSKHPKV, Palampur because it is loacted in my hometown and it has the course i was willing to take.
