Electrical has both core and non core components hence you can apply for jobs in both fields and bits has a very good track record in recruitment for non core companies like McKinsey bain bcg Deloitte PWC ey etc come to recruitment on campus which is great also tech company like Google Microsoft etc come The course prepared well to prepare youbfor the real world and make you employable especially in core branches where subject knowledge matters more The course needs to be a little more linuent as the tutorial are conducted at 8 in morning everyday which is rather painful for all as they carry marks And exams like tuts and quizes are conducted regularly at short intervals quizes and are of low difficulty but the midsems and compres are high difficulty and require thorough knowledge

Total fees of the course is estimated to be around 28lakhs i got MCN scholarship so my first semester is free There is no management or reservation quota and admission is merit based only First semester academic fee is 296000 49000 per sem is for hostel mess and miscellaneous charges I got MCN scholarship on basis of my bitsat score and to keep it have to be in top 7 %of the institute in academics Fees for all students is same

The overall experience was positive and felt great at the campus The seniors are not very rude or don't take any ragging everything here is very disciplined and under control , no hooligans nothing The seniors are also very helpful gives treats and all and guide for our best interest The clubs are immense in number over 20 atleast and they conduct rigorous recruitment process for the clubs involving tests gds etc Apogee tech fest oasis cultural fest and BOSM sports fest are organic Library isnt too good but it isn't bad either there are all books it's just that the ac are not everywhere Ac classroom with wifi Nirmaan group ,parc at bits help in social upliftment

I chose bits pilani because my josaa councelling didn't went as expected I got 9k in adv and was looking at lower branch at iit rrk or bhu or kanpur then apply for branch change but in josaa this tlyear the cut-off for the lower branches at iit increased and the branches which went till 9k rank last year closed at 7k hence I didn't get iit so had to settle for bits even tho I didn't even prepare for bitsat but just gave it before advanced and felt good after givung got 305 in bitsat which was a good score I got iiit allahabad it in josaa and in jac I got dtu cse but did not chose them as I wanted to explore non core and bits non core is great as it as finance clubs ,.wall street club, consulting club 180 dc clubs and more which help you to get jobs in these non core fields

The faculty to student ratio is around 40 is to 1 and the faculty is friendly and not too strict and very approachable Bio ic chowdhary is very good also maths teacher dwivedi is great and thermodynamics teacher soni is also good Computer programming teacher was not that good and seems to rely mosty on slides instead of teaching effectively as I did not have computer in 12th so I'm facing problems in the course due to this reason. The labs are also good but the equipment seemed a little outdated and the overall vibe of the college was placement focus with less focus on acads and placement rather than research
