Course Curriculum Overview

I believe ECE department already has all thethings it needs, but they just have to uplift their schedules and do not miss any of the classes so that we won't loose interest in middle of any topic. And as far for labs. They teach pretty good. I found myself interested in some of the core labs.

Internships Opportunities

Internships are available from third year I guess. But after i completed my first year, we had a intership program conducted by a company called quant tech for a duration of 15 days for soft skills training. I guess it's good.

Placement Experience

As per the latest notice I read in college. I have seen 96% of placements in Our ECE department. So I guess it's pretty good. And they also will give placement training in our third year I guess. That's what seniors told us.

Fees and Financial Aid

As of first year we paid 42000 thousand and got an ssp scholarship of 21,500 and then for second year we paid around 38,300 and haven't got the ssp of second year yet. We usually pay the exam fees every year about 2,300.

Campus Life

I had a nice experience in our college. It's a 105 years old campus, but still good and neat. The college also has many clubs, from technical to cultural. It also includes NCC. They are so many Collabs of clubs formed to conduct events and fests.

Admission

I didn't had any idea of choosing any particular college. But then later i got some other college in my first round of results. That's when I did some research and found out about UVCE. I thought it was good and being from a middle class family, government college has a big help.

Faculty

As a ECE student I can say that there are highly experienced teachers, but less in number. It's only those two to three teachers who takes the course strictly and complete the syllabus. And some of them they just go on till the end and do as much as they can. Exams are conducted pretty well.

Though i needed cse with cybersecurity but i didnt get it so i went with Robotics and ai. In first year they have many subjects of all course which are basic and fundamentals of all branches Some are good in real world application They should add more practical stuff then theories We have 1 to 1½ month gap betwen internals and some 10 days gap between 2nd internal and sem difficult level varies every year

Think more than Twice

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am a tech-enthusiast and chip designing is something i have been keen to know about and hence i went in for ECE Course. The curriculum is just same as the other engineering colleges. Detailed enough to pass the semester end exams. Teaching methods and the equipments need to be changed. Its high time. While other colleges are using well designed new technologies for lab experiments, ours is still stuck on the old methods which is very frustrating as we dont receive accurate results that affects our performance.

PES has very good placement opportunities. Placements start from the 7th semester. Many multi-national companies come for campus recruitment. The highest package offered is 1.5 crore. The average package is around 9 to 11 lpa.

I had applied to the UVCE for civil engineering branch first option and first round I got BIT college i don't have interest to go to that college because of high fees . So I waited for UVCE college because of its professors and it's name and famous earlier and it's a first engineering college in the Karnataka and it's 5th engineering college in the india because of its history i have choose this college . Students need to rank below 5000 in KCET exam to get ISE and CSE branch and 10000 for ECE and EEE branch and 20000 for Civil and Mech branch .
