Experience of College Life

Main reason for choosing this course as I was very much interested to know and learn in deep about the electronics and the instrument which is used in big industry as well as automatic things as in this stream we learn about making machine work automatic.Exam frequency is 6 month.But between them we also given 4 kind of assessment in which 2 of them were written test of 25 marks.Most of the paper having medium difficulty level.

We have to made two projects cumpolsory one is minor and one major. They provide industrial training according to dept. And send there students for 1-6 month to appropriate industry. College also helps in enrolling lot of online it related intership.

At the end of 4 th semester, students are eligible for placement. Around 90+ companies visited at my time including TCS, CAPGEMINI,Hexaware,Tata Power,Air Water India,Voltas, Cognizant. I got placed in Capgemini and Air Water India Pvt.Ltd. in year2022-2023.Average package was 5 LPA , Highest package was 12LPA. South Indian Bank came with 10 LPA package. Students from my department- 90%of them got placed In other also 80-90% got placement that year.

I completed B.Tech in Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering. College also provide placement training and I got placed in software as well as in core company. Full course fee was around 3.9 Lakh. Caution Money- 10000 Lab fee-600/sem Library fee-600/sem Exam fee-1200/sem

Overall experience was very good.But I spent almost 2 year in Lockdown due to COVID . We organized a lot of fest including tech fest named as Horizon and cultural fest - Zeal. Some students from each department also runs clubs like coding club, innovation club etc. In our Library more than 10000 books including research papers available. Most of the classroom having smart digital board available for better understanding.All computer labs are air conditioned .Each department having there separate labs . Lots of extra curricular activities also happening - Karate,Atheletics, Singing, Dancing,Cricket,Drama, Paining, Photography.

Exam accepted - WBJEE I applied for WBJEE and qualified that followed with counselling process then I got allotted to this college.I applied for other colleges to also got other college but for getting admission,I research and found that this college is best for this department(AEIE) so I took admission in this college. Cutoff in WBJEE for this college is 30000rank for this department.

All facilities available are cooperative and helpful.They talk in friendly way. In my department 1 faculty for 3 students was the ratio.In other dept. 1 faculty for 8-10 students. Syllabus followed and completed by faculty as per university (MAKAUT)guidelines Exam is also taken by university in this college . In our dept. - There is Ritu Rani De and Mr Soumen Mallick Sir both are placement coordinator,they organised mock test and helped alot in preparation so that we get placed . Finally I placed and giving thanks to all including them.
