Likes

The atmosphere of the campus is simply beautiful and relaxing
The faculty members are very helpful and friendly towards students

Dislikes

Sometimes time would not be given enough to complete studying
Due to corona virus the nunber of holidays were greatly reduced

Course Curriculum Overview

Some aspects of the curriculum are useful such as enguneering safety, communucation classes. But subjects like economic engineering can be avoided it ia not necessary in future use. If previous year question papera are referred then it is not very difficult to pass the exam. Subjects like LIC, ADC are important for future use

Placement Experience

There are many placement drives conducted in our college. Students become eligible to attend placement drives from seventh semester. Companies auch as Qburst, Haritha techserv, Samudra marine institute have conducted placement drives in the college. They have offered 3.5 lpa, to 7 lpa offers. I have got placement from Haritha techserv

Fees and Financial Aid

Usually all students have to pay Rs.42000 per semester but as I had acquired KEAM rank less than 10000, they reduced my sem fees to 25000. According to keam rank and plus two marks college reduce sem fees. Caution fees of Rs 10000 had to be paid by all students during admission.

Campus Life

Campus life is very enjoyable and satisfying. During annual activities like tharang fest there is good co operation between faculty members and students to conduct the program in the best way possible. Many hackathons like NASA hackathon was conducted. We have a vast library with many books. They conduct sports day, college day, union day. There clubs like IEEE, ISTE, IETE

Admission

The reason for choosing this college is that it is near to my house and it provide scholarship based on plus two marks and KEAM rank. Because it is a private college, there will not be any political protests or such problems in the campus. I think if you get higher keam rank you could be selected for better colleges.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty members are very helpful. We can approach them at any time for clarifying doubts. The exams ate not very difficult to clear after referring various previous year question papers. Faculty members such as Drisya miss, Saritha miss are very friendly and approachable.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement after their 6th semester. Companies such as Tata ,TCS , ola , ather, ISRO visited our college for campus placement The average package offerdies 3 or 4 lakh per annum. The highest package at offer the tower college way up to 30 lakhs per annum If you are willing to sit for the placements many of the students could easily get placement about 80% My plans after getting degree is either doing some job and gaining some work experience for planning to go for higher studies

So when we consider curriculum, I was in 2015 KTU curriculum and it was not that much updated with current technology. But after there was 2019 KTU curriculum which is more adapted with current technology are better. So curriculum not only will help us to obtain real life experience, so they will need us to complete extra curricular activities which is need 100 points mandatory for course completion is there , so considering that it is a good thing. You need to do intership, courses etc.

Delving deep into the divinity.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to really enhance my programming skills due to which I planned to enrol for this course. The curriculum does not manage to prepare you for real world applications as most of the time they include just the most basic of examples. I wish they would take some input from students too in the curriculum creation. The internals are conducted twice in a semester along with an end semester exam. The exams are usually easy to moderately difficult.

From S6 onwards students will be able to sit in placements drive. In my college the placement is just OK. Many companies visited and above 100 offers were made. COLLEGE NOT IN YOUR DREAMS

I applied to Marian College UKF .I hot confirmation from UKF but everyone near said thats a bad college to be honest so I chose this college. I got rejected from St.Thomas college as I haven't written KEAM exam which we didnt know was the criteria to get admissions in colleges for Kerala. A review about life in CET, as an Mtech structural engineering student

My first preference was CET and I got CET in my first allotment. The reason to choose it is because it is considered to be the best government Engineering college in Kerala.
