Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The curriculum has been designed beautifully. All of the subjects will hep us in our practical life. They have a subject of mooting as well. They teach practical aspects of the law. The areas of improvement i think will be if they project live moot courts in the classes.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

The course is very practicality based so we have to do internships along it. The university offeres us internships under advocated, in police stations depending in our preference. These internships help us to develop practical knowledge of the course.

Placement Experience

3.5

Students apply for jobs in the 3rd year itself. I think the highest package recieved was 2cr. Our course is a self emolyoing course, usually Students tend to not sit in the placement programe. Personally i would go for judiciary after this course.

Fees and Financial Aid

My fee per semester is 87000 along with examination fee it becomes 90000 i have availed 30% scholarship so my fee is 67000. The fee increases every year. This year the fee was 95000 per semster. Yearly fee for current batch is 200000. There is no reservation benefits for SC ST.

Campus Life

4.5

Every festival is celebrated over here. You will see a wide range of fests taking place in the campus. The university has library in every department and the libraries have almost every single book relevant to the course. We have projectors in every class. For sports we have a different campus where you can enjoy and join the teams. We have football, basketball, cricket ground here. Students run Pro Bono clubs, NITI, NSS,these are the clubs that Students can join.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The hostel is good. 4 students live in a room. Each one gets their own bed and wardrobe. And study table and chairs. The meal quality is above average. The food is basically healthy and the feedbacks you drop is checked by the mess manager.

Admission

Honestly i didnt apply for any other college as i was already a year late because of my drop period. I joined the college on the recommendation of my friend who was himself studying in the same course. To get admission you need to first take cucet test and then you will sit in a counselling round.

Faculty

4

The faculty is quite good. They make us comfortable. Our majority teachers are great. We have 3 exams per semester. MST1, MST2 and End semester exam. The marking is quiet lineant. I mean they dont usually do harsh marking but its not like you will pass by writing anything.

Trilegal too has recently partnered with out college and every year 20 students are invited to intenr with them from our university.

Around 60% students only gets direct placements from our college as ratio I hope gets better because as a top tier NLU i still feel the placements are still not that great. I hope that by the time our time comes ratio is 100% because after the judgement of 3 years practice for judiciary, I think it is inevitable to have a job.

Khaitan & Co., Maheshwari and Co and likewise many such companies came for placements as it's the law firm that provides us placements and give good salary like 50-70k in general. However, internships matters a lot as most students performance at their internships are reviewed thoroughly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college is highly affordable with not much hike in the fees over the past years. It is quite near to my house and within the city. The college provides hostel facilities and bus pass to students travelling from far The course makes you legal literate and aware of the legal world . With 15-20days of internship in district court in last 2 years of the college it shows the reality of the court life. No placement- The college should provide information along with opportunities of placements. The campus being quite small - Teacher easily focuses on each student . Semester system- The university conducts exams every 6months yhat are quite easy to clear.
