"Assam Engineering College" where dream takes shapes

From the very beginning i was very interested in engineering as my cousin had also done engineering from the various engineering college. In this course the favourite branch of mine is the CSE and thats mine branch to as i love coding a lot and the branch suits me the most.as these branch helps a lot in securing good companies like google microsoft and also get more package then the usual core brnaches the second reason i love about the branch is that. The improvement required in the course curriculum is adding more different branch in it so that the student should not only have to study the core branch only. And the teaching method should improve in the college is that the teacher should use digital tools to study the topics which make more interesting to learn the topics and easy. The teachers inform us a week before if an class text is about to held so thag we can prepare for it and the text also include to those which have teached in the class no extra topics are added in the test

In our college many internahips are held like for the 3rd sem student they give an socail internship for the student where they have to survey in the villages. Apart from that in our college many internship are provided like machine learning, summere internships in IITs and paid internships for the student from the various company like tata, oil india and J.P. morgan, citigroup, consulting,siemens , pfizer etc many companies provide an paid internship there the roles of the paid internship is to identifiy the student that whether they are capable in this background or not they manly focus on the invlovement of student like managing customers and providing neccessary things and help the officers etc. project like software development web development , developing and mobile apps, data stucture and algorithem implementation machine learning and data analytics . Apply knowledge and skills real world problem develop project management and team works skills and create a portfolio of works.

From 7 semester the students are eligible for campus placement but in offcampus the student can apply for the interview from 5th sem onwards. The companies visites like tata, oild india, vedantu etc many big big companies visits the college every year in search of students in the college. The highest package taken this time is about 21 lpa from the oil comapang which is from the mechanical and the average is 10 lpa in CSE the highest package is 12 lpa this year from the it sector and the average is 6 lpa and the chemical got highest package of 15 lpa from the ongc wtih average of 7 lpa. Every year more then 75% student get placed in the various companies. After getting the degree i will do job on an private companies thats probably the it sector companies and after that i will start an startup bussiness for side bussiness

The total college fees for a 4-year program, spanning 7 semesters amounts to 280,000. However, there's an additional requirement to renew admission every odd semester, incurring extra costs. The annual admission fee is 40,000 which needs to be paid twice in a 2-year period, coinciding with the odd semesters. This adds up to 80,000 over the entire 4-year period. Additionally, tuition fees of 20,000 are charged every year, which is included in the odd semester admission fees. A caution fee of 500 is also taken from students every year. Registration fees vary smester-wise ranging up to 1000. Notably ST/SC students didn't need to pay tution fees. My friend who is ST have not needed to pay the tuition fee. Scholarships provide in our college is commonly NSP scholarship that include st/sc/obc, pragati, scholarship amount 45000 and Ishan Uday scholarships amout 80000 further more and poor fund scholarship of 40000 is given to the students those whoes family income is less than 80000.

The technical festivals held in our college is the pyrokenesis which is held every month of february. This held for 4 days at this days is the most beautiful day for the AECians on that they everybody enjoy it various programs are also held in this event singers are breing from various part of the india. After the annual sports and function is held in every month of january where various curriculum are held along with that prize distribution are aslo held on that they . In library various books are available for study and journal too where a particular library room is also there where the student can read the books peacefully . As our college teacher use less digitals tools and there is also shortage of digital tools in cse lack of computer . Volleyball is one of the most important game of AEC apart from that football, cricket is also played. In our AEC various clubs are also their like coding clubs , robotic clubs, singing clubs etc where after completing they provide certificate.

I apply for the tezpur university here i got mechanical department but because of higher amount i didn't took admission. Thats not the only one reason the other reason is that the tezpur is to far from my house which is a bit defficult for me to make updown from my house. I choose this college over then that because this college is the oldest college in assam and many companies visit everyyear and many students are well placed now also the faculty im this college are more experince than the tezpur university faculty. To take admission in my college the first criteria is that the student should have PCM in the class xii and the percentage should be of 75% and the next step is that every student should have to give CEE examination conduct by the colleges the exam considered as toughest exam in assam. The cutoff to take admission in my college is for general it 300 marks and obc is 200 and sc is 150 and ST is 80 marks according to last year

The faculty to student ratio is 4:9 as there is less number of teachers in the particular branch like CSE and Civil department. But the relationships among the teachers with the student is very nice all the teachers behave nicely to the students. Whenever we asked questions to the teachers the teachers exlain us very nicely and always give time to the students. The teachers use the local languages other than english which made students clear the topics of the subjects for this reason the AEC teachers are the best. The faculty i like the most is the Madurihma ma'am an faculty of DSA she always motivate me whenever i loss hopes to learn new thing she treat me like her onw child. And there is also on teacher nam Nabajit sir which i don't like it as he always give th half information to the studenta which creates mis information among them. The exams system in our college is like that they conduct 3 class text in the class and the end sem exam lab exams also held befor end semester exam.
