Likes

The surrounding is good and environment is nice. Teachers are Experienced
Crowd is very good and mostly the teaching experience has been good

Dislikes

Nothing is there to dislike but fees increasing every year is a bit concerning
The campus does not provide wifi in every area.

Course Curriculum Overview

My course is Bcom and sd is affiliated to panjab university therefore relevance in course is wholly based on theory rather than practical knowledge. Exams are not easy but if you fill sheets there are more chances of you passing.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 40601 per year

Internships Opportunities

I am in 3rd year therefore the companies are yet to come for placement. But I am sure that the college will provide with good placement opportunities. Various companies such as HDFC,icici, TCS have been heard to come for placements

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The fees started from 32k and in 3rd year it has reached 40k for bcom....pretty similar to other courses. Scholarship are given to students whose parents have income less than 250000 and ews certificate is required. Other financial aid is scholarship from college side.

Campus Life

Overall experience is alright. There are various clubs and other such as nss and ncc I joined nss and the experience was quite good Library faculty is good. There is a reading room for studying which has good studying environment

Admission

Sd college is a private college whereas there is no other such college which has reputation like sd college. It is ranked 17th in India for commerce and is a good college as compared to others. Therefore I chose this college

Teachers are alright. Principle is also very well behaved. The exams are conducted in two ways first is mid semester exam and the other is semester exam which takes place in May and December. Therefore faculty is good

I think the course curriculum is well made and there is no need to improve it further although I feel that for some subjects the exam syllabus is too much to be completed in 5 months of time so that subject's extra class can be taken
