Course Curriculum Overview

According to the course curriculum it will be 4 /5 years for first-degree students and also we can avail of minor degree from finance, data science etc. you can be a part of teaching assistant in your 2nd year onwards

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 500000 per year

Internships Opportunities

you will get a max of 3 internships like first one will be right after your 4th semester called practice school 1, after the 6th sem you may opt for a summer internship for 8 weeks or you can avail of 6 months of practice school 2.

Placement Experience

Your eligible right from the 6th semester on wards choosing placement cycle semster as 1 or 2 based on your choice. placement will be almost 100% if students have not taken placement. they will be choosing higher studies may be own startup/ family business

Fees and Financial Aid

yearly fee of 5lakhs, scholarships like merit scholarships are two types 1. 100% 2. 40% and merit-cum-need 1. 80% 2. 40% 3. 25% 4. 15%. these scholarships are based on the CGPA. min cpga for MCN will be 6+.

Campus Life

The campus experience is very good and made lot of friends, clubs like culture and department and sports are too good. sports fests like BOSM and inter bits competing for all bits campus like hyd, goa, pilani, dubai.

Hostel Facilities

hostel facilities are too good .in first year will be double sharing and from 2nd year will be allot single share room and can form a wing like 10-12 rooms aside with your friends and no restrictions to hostels to go out and to in

Hostel Fee: INR 100000 per year

Admission

I choose BITS Pilani over some NITs, and IITs because BITS provide a 0% attendance policy and no reservation system only a merit basis. Can meet diverse people all over india and some foreigners too. admission will be based on exam modes like BITSAT and SAT. Normally BITSAT will be for all Indian students and SAT will be for NRI( dasa). BITSAT will be 390 marks currently.

Faculty

Faculty members are too good. the courses are a little tough. coming to exam system it will be 30% mid sem, 30 % quizes+ and assignments and the rest will be compres. Scoring marks in quizzes will be easier and tougher to attend

Placement Experience:

the placement scenario of my college is imrpoving every year but it was still not as good as it was when we were at MNIT jaipur campus given the placement of last year but this year it seems to have imrpoved by a lot since there are much more companies visiting our campus this year the few companies visited are NVIDIA, VISA, E-SARAL, AMAZON, MEESHO, MYNTRA etc nvidia offered a 65lpa package and esaral offered 3 35LPA package the packages of other companies are not revealed yet. the highest package this year is 1CR+ but it's an off campus placement the highest on campus placement is 65 lpa by NVIDIA there are around 80% students getting placed every year inclduing on campus and off campus both few goes for higher studies such as M.TECH or MBA but there's stilla good amount of people getting placed every year out of which 40-50% are onn campus. my plans are to get a placement after college then if i get the opportunity and right consition then i might pursue M.TECH and PHD in foreign country

Placement Experience:

There are many companies that visited our university like amazon, deloitte, google,Microsoft, TCS, hcl tech etc. The highest placement of these year was 33 lpa and average was 7-8 lpa. These year our university got 1200+ offers and still counting. The companies mostly select based on skills and not cgoa, so if you have enough skills then you can easily clearly interviews and get placement.

campus placements at muj are decent but largely depend on individual performance and skill set . there are many companies visited like amazon tcs and microsoft and others they made many offers to students highest package is 25 lpa and average is 6 lpa and minimum is 3 to 4 lpa.roughly 70 to 80 % students get placed. my plains after getting degree is to get a job of highest package.

In third year student gets eligible for on campus internships offered by big companies like google and nvidia. from fourth year students gets to sit in placement offered by companies called to colllege if that student pass the eligibility criteria mostly based in CG in semesters. In 2024 highest package from our college was 53 LPA from computer science and engineering. the average package of our college was about 20 LPA for CSE department and can vary based on skills and branch. last year about 92% of Btech students gets on campus placements. In reality i haven't decided what i have to do after getting my degree. I wouls probably do job or opt for Mtech or MBA or maybe least probable i would like to prepare for UPSC.

I selected this college over other colleges due to its legacy, exposure and opportunities. The freedom to traverse through multiple domains and it's flexible academics. I had applied to almost all biotech, bio engineering related colleges to get into health sector domain. I did not get rejection from any of the colleges.
