Course Curriculum Overview
The course I chose was political Science hons. I chose this subject because it provides a good knowledge of our political world as well as the other aspects too. It provides the knowledge to the one who is more interested in the recent affairs and wants to attempt a government exam. If we talk about the curriculum then it is very good but the way it is taught in the college is not that appreciable as the college is situated in a villagy area then teachers do not prefer much to visit there due to what the students do not get the teaching what they deserve. Even some times teachers take online classes. The exam is done between 6 months of the gap which is a quite good time period to be prepared for the exam and with that the exam has to be difficult to attempt.
Fees and Financial Aid
In our college, the course is very affordable as it barely charges 5000 which is differently charged in different Colleges. So the course is affordable and the fees are too at the same hand. The course has its own subject of view.
Campus Life
The overall experience is as good as taking the campus life and the education life. As the college is situated in a village we students are unable to go there regularly as it is very far away. If I talk about life over there then it is very horrible as the area is not safe at all.
Admission
The admission was done on the basis of merit. The application can be found on the website of DU - i.e. du.ac.in all the information provided regarding the last date and the submission. Reservation is done on different Bases such as EWS and OBC.
Faculty
The faculty members are quite qualified but more than half of the teachers are mostly those who have recently started their career. Being new teachers, they do not perceive good communication or teaching skills. Though there are some old teachers there to guide them getting taught by the new teachers is quite a difficult thing. Also, they leave the college as soon as the college is situated in the village then the teaching style again changes as a new teacher arrives. Then the staff who work there are also a bit lazy as the things that need to be cleaned or to be managed aren't done the way they have to be. So it is quite hard to say that the faculty is very good.
