Course Curriculum Overview
The course that I have chosen is BE.ECE which I chose because of my mixed interest in coding as well as IoT which is undoubtedly provided by the college. The college also encourage projects by which the students can be able to understand the details with in hand experience. The exams are conducted periodically in the college as in a semester the students have 3 CAT which can be expanded as continuous assessment test which is conducted to keep students in track. The final semester is conducted by the Anna University since it's not an autonomous college.
Placement Experience
The college provide a excellent placement drive since the average package of a ece student is 16lpa . The placement drive starts for the students once they have completed their 6th sem that is 3rd year. There are hell lot of companies that come to our campus for placements. And our college also has pool placement along with the PSG College of technology.
Fees and Financial Aid
My yearly fees is about 80400 in which the tuition fees is 55k and the balance is special fees which includes uniform books and other charges. The first graduate fees is 52900 and the Sc/St less income fees is about 25400
Campus Life
The culturals and the annual and technical festivals are not frequently conducted in the campus but we do have a cultural, an annual day and a sports days which are usually conducted between the months March April and may . The library facilities available are good the students have access to all books that are available in the library and there are wide range of books that are available in the library. The library also provides a concept called digital library which is accessible throughout the year and is open till 12am in which we have advance computers and internet accessibility so the students can improve their learning skills. Every class rooms has a projector and a computer so the faculties are able to provide lectures digitally which will results in the easy understanding of the concept by the students and also have plenty of lights and fans. Overall the college have a good club interaction and sports and extracurricular activities so that a student can be an all rounder.
Admission
The admission is based on the cut off of the students. For government quota the students must have secured 194+ for main stream courses such as ece eee csc ai&ds and csbs. Where as for mech and civil 180+ is required for government quota. On the other hand for management quota the students must have secured 188+ cutoff and there is no entrance or donation seats are filled based on the students cut off.
Faculty
The faculties that do work here are good at their jobs and are sincere to their work since all the faculties are always punctual even they will arrive 5 min earlier to the class and won't skip topics nor give self study. They periodically give assignments and quizzes to keep the students engaged and to be attendive in class. Despite the biometric attendance the faculties keep their personal attendance and look after their students with personal interests.
