Since anna university portion was outdated. Psg itech provided value added course
Placement training was provided from the first year
Teachers are very friendly and well knowledge.

Dislikes

Colleges timing 8.30 to 4.45 more time college consumes
Girls are not allowed to anywhere after 6.30 pm even inside campus.
In canteen minimum no of egg puffs are prepared

As we all know computer science courses have more scope in the future. The faculty-student ratio is 1:60. Faculty members are knowledgeable and friendly. Exams are in a standard manner as PSG itech affiliated with Anna-university.

Internships Opportunities

Most students should be ready for an intership in the third year. If they did an online course in one year then they are eligible to attend an internship in the second year itself. Internship plays a vital role in understanding the industry.

About more than 96% of students are getting placed in PSG itech. Even PSG students come and attend interviews in PSG itech. Some top companies are Cisco, Amazon, and SAP. Highest package- 40lpa. Average package-7lpa.

Fees and Financial Aid

Since PSG itech is non-autonomous and private institute fees are quite high compared to PSG. The fee structure for computer science 89000 per year. Scholarships are also provided based on their performance on 12th standard and their family income.

Campus Life

Semester fest and hostel day fest are available in the hostel where they provide non-veg as well as veg special dishes. Many books, journals, and comics are available in the library and each department provides a department library. Sports club is therr in psg itech. Whoever is interested can join and make use of it. Totally 30+ clubs are available in PSG tech.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are good, they provide free wifi, provide hot, cool, and normal water. Provided with the library. Provided gym for girls and boys separately Meal quality and taste are extremely fine. Providing ice cream once a week. Registration can be done in the admin office itself for a hostel. The hostel is located inside the PSG itech campus. Which is safe for girls.

Hostel Fee: INR 111000 per year

Admission

The eligibility cut -off should be more than 197. If it is management more than 190 is sufficient for reservation people. The overall admission process was quite good with a good cutoff. Applications will be provided in TNEA which EE needs to be shown to PSG administration for registration.

Placement Experience:

top tech companies will come to our campus for replacement some of them are Amazon, JP Morgan, TCS, cognizant according to our skill level, they will choose before applying for any company. And the average placement they offer is 7-10 LPA. You should pass some exams in our college, which is held by our placement cell, so those are pretty much annoying nearly 10 exams they will put just for applying for each company.

Good college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculums are good (it depends on depts) and they are updated and new electives/ cbcs are added thus updating curriculum and there are subject with heavy lab which don't have end sem instead lab and only internal which is not what other colleges have. they also have open book test for subjcts like programming languge so students can focus on learning the language instaed of memorizing. however as we are batch of a new regulation we are not aware of kind of questions that would come. however forthcoming batches won't be having this issue. unlike other collges only 2 internal exams and 1 semester is conducted. both the internal is given equal weightage ( having unit 1&2 and 3&4 for each exams) and retest is also conducted for internal however even if one exam not written they need to write all 4 unit incase of health issues etc. 50% internal and 50% external. so if having good internal can easlity score well in total. However if one fails to secure internal then passing the subject becomes very hard. Core subjects however prepares well for real-world. however i feel curriculums should be slightly revised so that students learn everyhting systematically instead of memorizing. Good internships

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester, if you have required skill sets you can go for internships and placements. There are more than 600 companies that include Tata, Mahindra, Google, Deloitte and many more. Highest package was of 1.2 crores and average package is 8 -9 lakhs. I don't have the exact statistical data but yaa more than 70% students get placed. I am looking for a high pay job after getting the degree

MY COLLEYE LIFE

Placement Experience:

They start conducting interviews after completing the 6th semester. At least 6 companies come for the campus placement like tech Mahendra, TCS, and manufacturing companies like sakthi auto-complete, tata motors, etc. They placed a minimum of 150000 per aum. The percentage of students getting placements is 30%. Get a job in a reputed company.

Apart from this college, i had also applied to kpr Institute. But considering the college reputation and better placement opportunities, i opted in for psg.
