Dislikes
- Hostel facility is not upto the fee collected
- Since teaching staffs are appointed as warden, to get sign in the leave form it's very difficult to find them in the campus and get sign
- Very long college hours and mostly no holiday will be given on Saturday
Course Curriculum Overview
Since the college is an affiliated one they have to follow the course designed by the university which is quite outdated. To overcome this, the college has some value added course that helps the students. One area that needs to be improved is students should have the freedom to choose the elective courses as per their interest
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee was about 1.5 lakhs per year including tution fee, development fee, lab and placement. To avail the scholarship, we have to give details regarding our family income. If we are eligible, we will be given scholarship.
Campus Life
Many cultural events like yukta and many more will be conducted every year. Also the college has many clubs in which we can be a member. The college doesn't give that importance to sports but most of the sports are played by the college at zonal level
Admission
Apart from this college, i had also applied to kpr Institute. But considering the college reputation and better placement opportunities, i opted in for psg. There are two ways in which you can get admission in this college. One is through government councilling and other via management quota. If you are applying through management quota, then there will an entrance exam and the minimum cutoff should be above 175
Faculty
As per the university regulations, there will be 8 semesters and in each semester 3 internal examinations will be there. But the college campus conducts 4 internal exams in each semester and considers the best 3. The exam difficulty level will be moderate as the questions will be a direct one.
Night Life
Usually students will be allowed for outing only on sundays. Other than sunday, if we want to go out for any reason then we need the warden permission. There is a small gym, a big library where you can get a wide range of books. There is also a cafeteria inside the campus but with less menu options
