Likes

The campus is good and the canteens provide good food
The classrooms are clean and the washrooms are hygienic
The sports facilities are pretty good and available

Dislikes

The college timing is not very convinient
The college is near a dumping yard and it smells bad
The classes are too long and the dress code is really strict

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is pretty up to the mark and the topics are related to the current things happening in the world such as women education and inclusive education and so on so it is pretty much a great course

Class Size: 5Course Fees: INR 76000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no scholarship, i paid 76000 for my 1st year and will have to pay another 76000 for ny 2nd year which makes the total of 1,50,000 or more. Compared to other subjects it is fairly cheaper. The class strength is 5 and the classes are conducted properly and in an organized manner

Campus Life

The campus life is chill and if you have your friends around then it becomes better, I've been in the basketball team and I've also been a part of a musical band so it was pretty memorable for me and it was worth the while

Admission

The admission process took too long and it was tiresome the office people were quite rude and were not pretty much of any help. We had to do everything by our own and had to run here and there to search for things that were required

Faculty

The faculty members are well qualified and provide quality education. The only problem is that they tend to give too many assignments per day and we cannot keep up with that and its hard to keep up considering most of us have other things to do after class hours

nothing much. Everything was good overall. If only the college could guide a bit about the placement program then it could be better.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is comprehensive and relevant covering literary theory, diverse texts and critical analysis. It prepares students for research and teaching. Exams are moderately challenging and well scheduled throughout the semester.

The thing I most like about my university that is our lecturers they provide good knowledge and they are caring towards students. They help pass to solve the previous 10 years paper question paper so that we didn't nervous in the examination hall
The environment of our college. There is a very pleasant environment because of many many trees flowers and everyone knows about Ravindra Bharathi is also really care for nature.

Dislikes

The thing I most dislike the fees structure whenever the University application form applied there is a huge fee they charge
Another thing when I candidate is not eligible for ma they didn't show on the application page that take money and they didn't refund it
They didn't provide the best library. Always there is not a good conduct of book

I always grateful for the institution because of the lecturer because they provide us good conduct of nose that's why we improve our studies and they taught us in different teaching methods and day all complete the course curriculum because of them we can know all of the things that can come in the examination and the prepare ask for real world application for father academic persues they can give us everything whatever we want for our life and we have to exam yearly one final exam

The Pros and Cons of Joining Jadavpur University Masters of Arts in Economics

Likes

Lush green and lovely campus, gives a perfect city vibes as well as greenery around
Huge social influence, and good knowledgable people around who are ready to discuss on any intellectual topics.
Expert faculty with proper emphasis on lecture quality, delivery, etc. Every faculty has a phD in their respective field.

Dislikes

Hectic lifestyle, there is a bit of pressure on syllabus completion
Exams conducted are a bit difficult with a higher frequency on conducting
Lack of Funding for campus development and deployment of proper infrastructure.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for applying for internships after the 3rd semester, and students can apply for placements only after 4th semester. Companies like Ericsson, Ernst and Young, JPMG makes visits our department for mostly analyst roles for economic and fundamental trading decisions. The highest offer made was 45LPA while the average is 7.5LPA. The median pakage is 8LPA. Almost 90% students secure placements after completing their degree since the Training and placement cell is pretty proactive in securing good company visits. I plan for investing and analyst roles in banking companies. I would sit for placements hoping for the same.

Likes

The behavior of the college staff is very good along with the teachers.
The campus is huge, along with a lot of amenities such as AC & smart classrooms, playgrounds, library, auditorium etc.
The college provides a great learning opportunity by internship opportunities at various companies.

Dislikes

There is a reason to worry as there are a lot of thieves around that area.
The nearby places of the college are not very safe, especially for women to travel at night.
The admissions criteria of this college are very tough. A student has to be highly qualified.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I had a keen interest in this subject. The faculty was very good, including the staff members and the academic teachers as well. The teachers were highly qualified and helped a lot in their studies. The exams were held timely under the supervision of the college staff members.

There were no campus placement. l have planned to be a teacher after completing this course. No company offers job in that campus. All the students have to struggle in their way for getting job.

Good College with Excellent teachers

Admission:

For pursuing Post graduation students never have to appear in any entrance examination. I passed my graduation from this college in the English department securing 65% of marks and hence choose this college for postgraduation as well.

Remarks:

The program of distance learning from University of Kalyani is the best Distance learning program at that I have ever come across. The distance program provides all of the facilities same as any regular program which makes it a wonderful option for all of the student who cannot afford to go to college regularly.

Remarks:

I am both positive and negative marks started with positive the factories where very good well well qualified there is no ragging the environment is eco friendly people very helpful there is no senior junior bond everyone is equal. The negative were enormous starting with the infrastructure in some places there are new buildings halls which are not even maintained and that's the biggest problem facilities are not given to student in the hostel so much carelessness is there in the routine work people are very lazy to do their working time authority is very slow to do their workrecreational activities other than academics are very less a student didn't get the time for recreational and facilities were also not there I come modern infrastructure universities should be so we have to change this things to do the university prosper in the later year in the first and foremost thing is determination a that everyone should give efforts to make our university Pride and worthful.

Remarks:

Positive remarks are that its study process is very good, teachers are friendly and helpful... Seniors behave well to the students... College extra caricular activities are also pretty good.. Negetive remark is that it is far from urban areas.

A brief description about salesian

I had chosen this college as even my brother studied in this college and all the time I used to hear good things about the college and once I went to the college I was so amazed to see such beautiful campus. The infrastructure is sooo good there are proper facilities provided which is required for the students and even the facilities are the best one who provides the proper guidance so I had no 2nd thought about joining this college. and due to which I even didn't applied in any other colleges because I wanted to get admission in salesian college.
