Actually I had applied with my diploma score. The PICT is one of best private college for Entc , IT and Computer engineering. They have best placement records.

Regarding curriculum, faculty for all subjects are well experienced. Nice industrial based curriculum.

About Placements the pick is one of the most reputed college in Pune. Company's like Google also visit. Training and placement cell is most attractive department. Almost 100% placements.

College Events

The most popular event that the college organizes is Impetus and concepts. It is basically projects presentation and also paper presentation. Event also includes Robotics , Coding, and many more.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I don't know exactly about fees right now. But 2012 its something 75000/- per year for General students.

Category wise you will get concession in fee. Also you can go for education loan college will cooperate with you.

Campus is not big. College having small campus so no more free space for sports. But you have more scope for cultural activities. College participates in sports n cultural events. Gender ratio is good.

Exam structure is completely based on pune university exam pattern.

DY Patil college is best for placement and coding environment

Placement Experience:

The placement is good in Y Patil College. Many companies are come for hiring a student. Most of students are placed in fourth year from fourth year. The companies are started to come in campus and higher students. Also, in a third year, Student want to get internship in any companies from campus and from outside of the campus internship is compulsory in third year last semester The company are come in my college are Amazon Google infosys Microsoft WIpro and other companies hire students The highest package of last year of AI and DS department is a 42 lakh higher by Amazon is the highest package of the last year placement. Also, the average packages are six lakh. The percentage of getting Student place in companies are nearly 92%

Companies that often visit campus for placement include ONGC, GAIL, IGL, IOCL, NRL, SAIL, Hindalco, Carin oil and gas, Reliance, Vedanta, Tata Power, Nyara, Tata projects and many more oil and gas industries, metal industries. The highest package: is 24 lpa ( given by ONGC) and the average package: is 13 lpa for Fire and safety profiles. Usually, all students get placed in the placement drive. I will do the job in the company I got placed in.

An Honest review of PICT

I applied and got admitted into Vishwakarma Institute of Technology - B.Tech in Computer Science. I chose PICT over VIT because of many factors : placements and internship opportunities, coding culture, campus life and overall studies. PICT is better in almost every aspect than VIT except some college life and syllabus strictness. Yes, I applied to COEP and VJTI but didn't get expected branch due to less marks in my JEE Mains. I also got rejected by IIST, IITs, RGIPT, BITS because I got less than 75% in my boards which didn't satisfy the eligibility criteria. I got into PICT by JEE Mains. The last cutoff for JEE Mains is 97.5 %ile to get ENTC in PICT. You require 99%ile+ in MHT-CET to get into PICT....Read More
