Inside Du:A student's perspective

Firstly the reason why i choose this course is that i liked accountancy as well as mathematics during school time so now i wanted to learn more about account and i am also persuing Ca with bcom honours so the syllabus is not very different so in my college the internships , orientation sessions are very common but due to my hectic academic sessions i am unable to focus on those curriculum Delhi University should see first how the teachers are going to teach the students as some of the teachers are teaching but you know teaching include one person is able to understand the other person a topic or concept So i feel in my college, teaching is not a cup of tea of some teachers I have just given my second semester exams they were not such difficult but also not very easy ... The core ones are of moderate level but the remaining sec, vac are on a easier side

I think after completing second year students gets placements and offer , i am not aware of those placement as such but i know the highest package of my college which is 600000 which was offered to someone in my college As i am in second year so companies like lernx as well as younity.in companies often visit for awareness and for small internships On Google its mentioned that 75 percent students get placement after completing the third year

The tution fees is not very expensive infact it is very reasonable so one should do hard work so that they get du and they do not have to pay lakhs for doing the same course I don't know the fee structure of the second year yet but in my first year i paid somewhere about 16000 for the whole year Scholarship are for basically lower class or for girls or with less annual income I somewhere participated in two internships but was not able to complete them or was very inconsistent because of my academic schedule

In my college the social aspects and club involvement is pretty decent so in my first year we had many events firstly the freshers party, then the dandiya festival, then there are many events like from different departments such as commerce history etc . Then we also had our annual fest which i had to miss due to my coaching but by listening my other friends and their experience of fest. The fest was very good So here in my college I don't like the library because of only reason that they do not allow personal books inside so it was very difficult for students like us as we need our study material inside and when I argue about that issue the give very lame excuses The technology is not very good but yes the computer labs are descent Yes the sports involvement in nice , there are free sprouts for students who are doing sports there are daily NCC trainings sessions so its all over nice Yes i often see the social clubs are doing charity works which are very appreciable

I scored 89% in 12th exam and then appeared in CUET. I scored 620 marks and got admission in somewhere 4th round as i am from general category so it is difficult to get bcom honours in this much marks as the number of students who applied for this course was crazy. But the sad part was that before normalisation i calculated my score it was somewhere around 680 but after normalisation it became 620 so it was hard for me but now the cuet is not having normalisation which is a good part

The interaction is bit difficult for me inspite the fact that i am an extrovert... The staff is not very approachable and seems having negative attitude towards us. they do not feel very helping Some teachers are very good but some teachers do not teach well even they do not care like the students are understanding or not....
