Likes

Classes and teachers are very good in our time
Hostel fee is very less than other colleges
Lab and workshops are very good and clean

Hostel food are not good and rooms are not good

I am not interested in engineering but after admission i gain interest in this course I am not good in english and the course is in english One improvement i want teachers teaching in Bengali for better understanding

Faculty

College campus is very good. Teachers are very good in our department i am from civil engineering.. I don't know about recent time but in our time Teachers are helpful Labs and computer are also very good

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is average, from 6 semester you get your job interview. About 60% students are gate they are jobs placements. Yaar maine company visited like HPL, ECL, IOCL attar getting the degree I have no plan.

Placement Experience:

After passing 4th semester L&T, TATA, NIPPON STEEL, JSL, JSW, BRAVO etc Highest package provided is around 8-10 LPA and average package provided is around 4 LPA. Usually and L&T and JSL provides high packages Almost 70-80% of students I'm going to take admission in a BTECH college for persuing Bachelor in Engineering degree

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was sure from the very starting of my preparation for jexpo that I would choose civil as my course.The curriculum was not that much difficult to understand. The theory part of this course is good but through my point of view practical should be more broad in this course.The frequency and the timing of the exam is good and it is in a moderate level

Placement Experience:

We college have many companies like tata motors, cumming company, dana limites, spices limited, Ashok Leyland. Mahindra. L and t company and much more high package is 3.5 lakh per annum aur department students got 90 per cent placed. I have been placed in tata motors which gives me 3.2 lacs per annum. My plan is to do b tech at Jadavpur University.

I didn't apply for other colleges because I was confident enough that I'll get here admission surely. Afterall Purulia Polytechnic is one of the best institutions in the field of diploma engineering in west bengal. No, I didn't Students get admission in the 1st year by securing certain ranks in JEXPO and for lateral entry in 2nd year is by VOCLET exam. Eligibility of the course is you the to complete your 10 standards from any board. First, you have to fill out the online form from the official website of wbscte, application fee is around 200/-.then you have to take the entrance examination and qualify. after that west Bengal board of technical education will release the counselling of seats then you have to choose the stream you want, and all seats are fulfiled rank-wise.
