Best Diploma college in west bengal

Eligibility of the course is you the to complete your 10 standards from any board. First, you have to fill out the online form from the official website of wbscte, application fee is around 200/-.then you have to take the entrance examination and qualify. after that west Bengal board of technical education will release the counselling of seats then you have to choose the stream you want, and all seats are fulfiled rank-wise. I do not avail any reservation benifits.

I choose this course because my uncle is working in the steel industry as a metallurgical engineer and I heard about this course from my uncle. there are 6 departments in my college and student around 60 per department and if I say about there are 45 teachers. Maximum teachers have completed their studies from reputed colleges like IIT Kharagpur, Jadavpur etc. Maximus teachers are M.tech qualified. In yearly there are 2 semesters and every month there is a class test. if I say about difficulty level it depends on you, how you study all the year? how do you prepare for the examination? If you study well then there is no tension for you you will surely pass the exam.

From the 5th semester, students are eligible to attend campus placement interviews. There are so many reputed companies that visit our college for placement like Jindal steel and power, JSW, JSL, TATA STEEL, L&T, Super smelters ltd and many more small companies. AS far as my knowledge concerns the highest package is around 800000 LPA and the lowest is around 250000 LPA. Most of the students get the placement some are in big companies and some are in local companies. As I have selected Jindal steel and power as JE.

purulia polytechnic is a govt college so you don't have to think about fees. You have to pay yearly around 3000/- that's all no extra fees. If I say about scholarships there are a lot of scholarships released by the wb govt every year for diploma students. you have to apply for them and you will get around 5000-10000.

As it is a diploma college so there are so my programs in this college like Saraswati puja( February), Viswakarma puja( September) and annual feast( April)' There is a library in the college so you will find every book there. You just have to apply for a library card and your job is done, you will be assisted with every kind of book you want. There is an annual sports programme that is organised by our college thrice a year one for cricket tournament one for the football tournament and the one is a general athlete programme. There are FB pages that are run by Purulia Polytechnic alumni.

In the hostel, there is a big room and 2 beds per room. there is 2 study table.2 chairs and 2 almirahs for the students per room. The meal is quite good. It will be good to say that it is eatable. There is 4 meal given by the hostel authority. If I say about hostel registration process you just have to write an application letter to the hotel super that you want to stay in the hostel as your home is far away from the college. And it will be allotted to you. If you don't want to stay in a hostel then there is so much mess around the college and the mess charge is 1000 around per month.
