Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course which I selected for myself was 7.5/10 I'd love to say that I had a great teaching staff and the course is not so difficult as the students think. The curriculum prepares you for lot of improvement and grants the opportunity to apply in the real world.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

As said the companies and the banking institutions come to offer the placements to students are Kotak Bank, Bajaj Allianz, Acme HR. The role which they offer are described below:- Sales Manager, Senior Sales Manager, Relationship Manager-Trainee, Junior Territory Manager, Associate Junior Territory Manager.

Placement Experience

3

From Semester 3 the students become available for campus placement, though they get it as internships but the percentage of students getting placements are 70-80% almost. Various companies and banking institutions come to offer jobs to the students namely, Kotak Bank, Induslnd Bank, Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance etc

Fees and Financial Aid

For the Reservation students, the tuition fees and examination fees are quite good but for general students the fees might be quite high or affordable for some. They grant you 100% campus placements if you apply and more over provide many more opportunities to apply and participate in the campus placement drive

Campus Life

3.5

The infrastructure provided is awesome, though the college is under renovation but still. The amount of students participate in the events and college tests are huge. There's a student council of a particular political party which helps resolves issues of the student. The students from the overall campus are great and supportive and daring too.

Admission

There was no eligibility criteria for admission in this course, whoever can apply and the process for admission is also very easy and you get the aided and unaided admission information procedure on their website. They provide various schemes to the students holding caste certificates and reservations

Faculty

4

The teaching faculty and the higher faculty is amazing, the level of knowledge and qualifications they posses are immeasurable and the teaching faculty is mostly young teachers so they know more about student psychology and behaviour more.

Placement Experience:

At TCSC placements are quite good as anyone. Even the SOBO colleges and Mithibai don't have placements as good as us. So this is why I always dreamt of studying here because since last 6-7 years, Thakur College placements have gone better and higher.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The B.com is not a very comprehensive and complex degree to complete for someone who wants to pursue his/her career in finance. It can be referred as an initial start or push start for one's finance journey over the years. Also the relevance of B.com in real world is gradually decreasing day by day.

From semester 5, you become eligible for final placement and semester 3 for internship placement. many companies like Nykaa, Myntra, Duetsche Bank, Morgan Stanley, Deloitte, Zomato, Beerbiceps and more have visited. the highest package in history is 38 lakh per annum. The average is 8-9 lakh per annum. Around 70% of students get the college placement. My plan is to start my own business after college. I am although doing internships through college. Already done one in Beerbiceps and one in chorus call.

Remarks:

The good thing is that the college was not strict and was never forcing us to study rather it was seeing to it that it gave us proper advice and help us reach more towards my career goal. The bad part would be there were may staff which was very dull and was not kind, and no importance was given to correct their behaviour although it was evident by all.
