The College is Excellent with great Administration and bunch of talented Faculties. It only Lacks Placements for Core Branches like Civil,Chemical etc.
Entrance Preview
I took CET. Rank 1300. This College was among the Top 4 in Karnataka and Chemical engineering had the Best Faculty.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Course was well spanned accross 4 years with First Year having General Subjects like Maths,Physics,Chemistry. It had atleast 3 Lab Subjects in each Semester which was a good mix to practice what was learned in Theory.
Internships Opportunities
The College Internship was not that Friendly as Students were involved in finding Companies which would provide Internship. There was no Stpiend offered to the Students but the TPO was very helpful in completing the Paperwork quickly.
Placement Experience
Placements were 100% in CS,ECE,EE & Mech but Chemical had only very Few companies especially core Companies were very minimal and also the intake was 1 or 2.
College Events
The College celebrated HALCYON the Annual fest where many colleges would participate and would make it a Grand Event.In addition there were Departmental Fest like chess for Chemical Engineering.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The Fee Structures Flat accross Karnataka is on the Higher Side.
Fees and Financial Aid
Loans are Available from all Major Banks but the College does not provide any Scholarship. It has now established tie ups with companies where you can work part time and earn some money.
Campus Life
The Campus is Great. It has a Stadium and all sorts of Indoor Games including Tennis,BasketBall,VolleyBall and badmisnton. There are lots of eateries just outside the Premises where you can get all sorts of tasty Food.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni Network is good and all Ex students have a forum where members are very active and respond within a Day. It provides as great platform for any Fresh Graduate to get help from his Seniors.
Exam Structure
The Exams is best of 3 Internals and 1 Semester exam. The question paper comprises of 8 broader questions out of which Students have to answer any 5 & the Pass marks is 35/100 & 50/125(considering Internals of 25 marks).
Faculty
Faculty was very Knowledgeable and extremely Friendly. Our Head of the Department was very Friendly and used to interact with the Students very frequentlynd to understand their vibe and pick up any Improvement that was suggested.
