This College is best in the Mp for btech except the itt and iiit ,great professor and the campus is very nice
Teacher are supportive and great club activities and sports activities lass are are regular
It's gives many internship opportunities that the one of the thing liked very much

Dislikes

Not very attentive to each student because the number of student is large
You have to do lot of thing by yourself like others cllg
Not all people are getting placement and those who are getting not very big

Course Curriculum Overview

Exams are held every 4-5 month of each semester with 2 mst in middle and viva and the end. the teaching staff always complete their course and after that, there are remedial classes to ensure the students are ready for the exam

Internships Opportunities

Infosys and Google and many companies like that are available for intership in college so it's provide very good chances for intership I my self got my intership certificate from Infosys so that was very good experience

Fees and Financial Aid

I am from creamy layer obc so I am out of scholarship quota. My firs sem fees was 63,000 and after that 48,000 per semester and many people recive who are obc or sc or st their full fees Back threw mukhyamantri yojana

Campus Life

There are lot of clubs and it's imporve your socialibility , and your knowledge there are robotics club , ojawa club , e cell club ,gaming club, sports club and many more so any field you interested you can join that club and gain knowledge from your senior

Admission

I got 94% on my jee exam but the admission cut off of last year cs and it was 97 so I got EI Branch and by doing well in my first year by obtaining 9.1 cgpa I was able to upgrade my branch to EC , but my friend who only got 69 % was able to join CS so that I found very unfair

Faculty

I am a student of 2024 batch I joined the college at time of corona so my starting 2 and half semester were online..the online classes was very good and on time professor don't take leave . Strick action if student mass bunk the class

The college is average from the study and placement perspective but not so good in of extracurricular activities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main aim of me to choose these course that I have the interest to get the technical knowlege that how any technical works internally and what the mechanism it follws to work and what algorithm it follws to work and for these specific choise of me to chose these course makes me to choose these course. As the curriculum is not much focused on technical skills rather it is more inclined on theoritical concepts but it gives me the idea about how to get know about any other or the technical skills that we have'nt yet studied in an sequential manner through the theoritical knowledge but I urge to update the syllbus to more incline the curriculum to technical knowledge which gives students an idea of proper real-world applications. The course curriculum is too old now that are being followed by our college given by the university which does'nt matches with the latest technologies and should be improved and updated according to the latest technology and should be more inclined to the technical parts. The time duration of each sem. is for 6 months where the are 4 months of teaching and 1 month of exams and 1 month of break and there are two categories of semester odd and even where odd semester are little bit longes ther the even semester in the time duration.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of NRI Group is really very good and they placed students from 7th Semester of engineering and consistently they doing good placements. In NRI Group Of institutions Defence Services Also Serve there placement campaign some of our batchmates are selected indian army, navy respectively. I think in our batch the highest percentage of campus selection was around 70 percent And the package was 30 lakh.

From last year they are eligible to sit for college placements. For off-campus they are eligible from day 1. There are so many big companies like Meta amazon flipkart Infosys etc visited this year. Even the highest package is 1.95 crores. The highest package was 1.95 crores by Shivansh Gupta sir in meta. The average package is 25 lakhs. 100% of students get placed but 10-20 % choose higher studies in foreign.

SGSITS: JUST A BIG BRAND

I applied for IET davv but I kept it as second preference in MP dte counselling. Other options available for me were some IIITs and lower branches in NITs but I wanted to go for IT sector. Now reason for me for choosing this college was it was slight better than iet and slight lower than IIITs but fees of IIITs was very high, So I didn't applied for them. When I applied for sgsits suddenly they increased their fees. I had no option left other than iet or taking sgsits, but in between confusions and dilemma I choosen sgsits by suggestions of relatives and other elders. Admission process is done through MP dte counselling, based on jee mains rank. Cutoff of general category for IT branch is about AIR 45,000. The college is good in terms of placement and development of students

I have applied to many nits and I got seat in NIT bhopal in electronics and communication branch. But I chose Sgsits cse over nit bhopal ece because I wanted to pursue my career in cse and I have no interest in ece. The admission process of the college is easy . First filling of application through date and then if we get seat we have to report college for the final admission process which is just of 1-2 hours and after fee submission your admission is confirmed.
