- The Faculties are great at teaching and supporting in Extra curricular activities.
- The Campus Life is great we collaborate with students of other branches and I've made a lot of friends amongst them creating a diverse network
- Academics are good but they still need improvements to meet the industry standards.
Dislikes
- They need to make more programs for increasing hands on learning experience for all students.
- Lack of Flexibility to students who want to opt for in-office internships,such students should be allowed to Pursue for more opportunities
- The Placement cell gives much priorities to Students of Circuit branches but not that much to the core sector companies.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is relevant in terms of Civil Engineering as most of the curriculum is the same as industry standards but I don't know about other branches. But still, I feel the need to introduce the Implications of AI and ML in Civil Engineering too with the coming Age
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities at college are dependent on students interest. Students are forwarded internship opportunities regularly by the T&P cell.It is upon the students to avail its benefits.But I still feel the lack of opportunities in the core industry internships as most of them are Coding based and in IT industry.
Placement Experience
The Traning and Placement Cell of Our college is famous among many colleges for it's record placements and the T&P officer of our college is President of the T&P organisation of all colleges in Pune.Recently, Our college was successful in placing about 1000 students which is great during such times of recession.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee Structure is simple. it is available on the college's official website. but the hectic task is applying of scholarship which the students have to do themselves. and it's like a government office task,where if u make a single mistake in the form,u have to reapply by correcting those mistakes which is too much work.
Campus Life
The Campus Life is full of Friends, Events and Many activities from the college side which keeps the students busy throughout the year.We recently had our 2 months vacation after second year completion and I was so bored at home that I wanted to come to college asap as life felt happening here.
Hostel Facilities
The Hostel Facilities are Great in all terms except the mess food quality. The rooms are spacious for 3 students, furniture is great. All rooms are equipped with 3 cots,3 table and chair sets,3 separate cupboards for each student and a AC and also an attached bathroom. but also it's not cheap. The hostel fees keep increasing each year for God knows what reasons. But still, If you don't care about Money and don't want the pain of too much walking for college every day.
Admission
The admission process was Simple, I got admission in the college through cap allotment with jee marks which was 84%le.We also had the faculties help us if we had any problems. First, we got the cap provisional acceptance letter, paid the fees, and then registered ourselves for the college ERP portal. All these tasks took like 3-4 hrs. You just need all the required documents with their 2-3 copies at all times.
Faculty
Most of the faculties in our department and others are either pursuing their PhDs or have completed them which is good as they are great at teaching theor core subjects.The faculty to students ratio might not be great for theory lessons but the practicals are taken batch wise which makes it easier for students to pay attention and ask doubts.Many Professors also allow us in on their PhD Projects which helps to know more about our industry and its requirements.
