Course Curriculum Overview
The automobile engineering course which they are providing was really good with a lot of student projects. The student projects and clubs like f1 prepare us to face practical problems and work in a team. The course could be a bit more concentrated to the automobile core and keep themselves updated with real life changes in the field. The difficulty of the exam is set perfectly for the students with an average gap of 2 months between the exams.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are provided from first year if selected and there are compulsory internships in our fourth year. A lot of companies like microsoft, Wipro, tata, etc offer campus placements. The student projects in our final year is compulsory and affects our campus placements.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for campus placements from the 3rd year. A lot of big companies like bmw, Google, etc visit the college and give numerous offers to the students for placements. I plan on starting my own workshop after getting my degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution fees increase slightly every year and have no major changes. We have to pay a caution deposit of 10000 which is refundable, first installment fee is 1,54,000 rupees, tution fee is 7,50,000 rupees, other fee is 4,62,000 rupees and the total fee is 16,26,000.
Campus Life
A lot of cultural festivals like techtatva, etc are held all around the year with a lot of sports and learning programs. The group projects are very educational and helpful to the students and teach them how to survive in the real world with their practical uses.
Hostel Facilities
We are provided with housekeeping and an appointment which can be used to call the room service during the workingbhours of the day. We are also provided with a pillow, a bucket, and bedsheet at the start of the year. We can book the hostel room through the official mit website. The food is very hygienic and really delicious.
Admission
Must pass class 12 with a 50% aggregate to be eligible to apply in this college. Application form and other details regarding the admission can be found in their official website. There is a gap of almost 2 months between every exam.
Faculty
All the faculty memberss are very well qualified and we are able to interact with the faculty members very often. We have a 1:12 faculty to student ratio where we can approach our assigned teacher for anykind of mentorship and help
