My wholesome experience

The management needs some work but overall my experience is very smooth and easy.

I appeared for JEE in 2016 n yeah I was qualified but not with flying colors so I learnt about my college from a family friend of mine. He recommended my family and thus I'm here today.

I'm a 4th semester student from electrical engineering. To my knowledge I can see that the course is really to the point base. Each semester you have 6 subject and 4practical . Apart from all these you have projects and presentation. Helpful in every manner.

Yes my college provide internship. At the end of 5th semester you are given a form where you need to explain where you want to intern. After that on the basis of your marks and performance your selected.

Placement opportunities are medium here. Sometimes many reowned companies come and sometimes some selective. However many companies only acquit male candidates. But female are given equal opportunity. Amazon, flipkart, tech mahindra, sbi as ND many more have taken brilliant students.

We pay 47000 per semester. And I do think it's fair enough to pay this amount for such good environment. N to your surprise we need not need to pay any extra amount after all of this. This is the only money you need to pay. I think for this amount you are getting the best.

Scholarship are given to students who rank 1st and 2nd during their semester. 1st=11000rs 2nd=10000rs

There are equal number of boys and girls. Workshop happen almost any time. There are students from each and every religion and they live together like friends and family. There is no politics game going around here. You'll find a good peaceful environment perfect for studies.

I Dont live in the college hostel but GIMT has got separate hostel for girls and boys. Rent is rs 6000 and you have to pay a security money of rs10000. 24hr Wi-Fi available. Separate dining rooms. Good toilet facility. 2girls can share a room or single room are also available. Security services 24hr.

Seniors are really helpful. Ragging free campus. They give their notes and help you whenever you need them.

Exam take place every 6 months . 1st we have our mid term. Where the marks is out of 50. And it's compulsory to pass the mid term examination. During mid term we don't have our practicals. After mid term we have our end term or final examination. Practical 1st n then followed by theory exams.

So for the admission you have to get 75% in pcm n then you can visit either Tezpur GIMT or guwahati branch. Here you have A separate admission cell where you'll be provided with every required contents. You need to have your marksheet and other documents along. Thn pay the money and yes it's done.
