Entrance Preview

It is amongst top 3 colleges in Mumbai for engineering. I had scorer more than 97% in PCM and wanted a Good college in Mumbai. Students here come from different parts of the city. Infrastructure is great and college is in center of the city so convenient to reach.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Pretty good. Covered broad range of computer science topics. My favorite subject was automata theory which has real world application in job sector these days. Loved all the subjects offered in the college. Course curriculum involves oral exams in certain courses

Internships Opportunities

No. Internship student have to get through their industry contacts. Most students don't get it. Some who do get internship have nice lines to show on their resume

Placement Experience

2.5

Good if getting job is the only criteria. If students want job with h high pay then they need to apply from outside and depends on their calibre. Some students got directly placed in Facebook, Google and apple Some interested in management career got consulting roles

College Events

3.5

Annual day, annual tech fest and farewell party. Many students do not take interest in such events but those who do keep themselves busy and learn the art of selling whichbis important in job sector. Most of the students who take part in such events are all rounders

Fee Structure And Facilities

Free seat RS 14500 per year Payment seat RS 50000 per year There are also certain management seats for rich students. Not sure how thebfee structure is recently but this was the structure 12-15 years back. Free seat saves lots of money for parents but they are less

Fees and Financial Aid

Tata scholarship for students scoring >70% marks in semester exams. I never availed since I never got more than 70%marks in exams but 4-5 students did avail it.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus life is good and studenta are intelligent and very active. Campus life is good and studenta are intelligent and very active. Campus life is good and studenta are intelligent and very active. Hostel Facilities

1.5

No hostel. Mess food is bad. Since lost students live in the city and near college vicinity there is no need of hostel. Mess food is had because management doesn't pay much attention. Some students get food poison after eating mess food hence they bring tiffin box from home which has home cooked food

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni has a Facebook page to discuss various topics. Exam Structure

Semester exams every 6 months. Some courses have oral exams. Some courses have no exam, final grades depend on faculty perception so students have to pander to them. first and last year exams are conducted by Mumbai University. Exams are scored on 100

Admission

Based on merit list generated by Maharashtra board based on marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics. I was always great in maths and loved maths so got 100/100 in 12 STD and opted for engineering. Since I had great PCM score, I got a free seat in this college

Faculty

3

Average. Most of the student join classes to learn. Faculty is not serious about student career. Most of the students go to us for higher education so faculty is least bothered about them. But faculty has very good technical knowledge if students show interest and pander towards them

7th semester or 4th year makes you eligible for internships and placements. NVIDIA visits our college often i don't know much about the placements as im only in first year but yes the eligibility for the placement is over CGPA which eliminates a lot of students during the placements nearly ~75% of the students get placed (including off and in campus) the other 20% pursue higher studies the other 5% go for start ups

Course Curriculum Overview:

Relevance: 8.5/10 (High Industry Alignment) The curriculum is highly relevant because it is one of the few in India specifically designed under the guidance of the Ministry of Home Affairs. PSU Alignment: The topics covered—such as Industrial Safety, Petroleum & Petrochemical Fire Safety, and Hazard Management—directly align with the requirements of top recruiters like ONGC, IOCL, and GAIL. NEP Integration: The college has recently transitioned to the New Education Policy (NEP), which introduces more flexible, research-oriented, and interdisciplinary learning modules, making the degree more modern and globally competitive. Practical Edge: The "Fire Ground Operations" (FGO) are not just physical exercise; they are a live application of the hydraulics and chemistry you learn in the classroom.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum of the college is as same as any other colleges. College does follow traditional approach but college does conduct various programs like AICTE idea lab course in curriculum. Teaching method in college needs to evolve and college needs to encourage the coding and development culture. And as for exam, for every subject exam iseasy to moderate level but for selective subject (depends on faculty) exam level is difficult.
