Likes

It's a vast college and it has a nice natural beauty.
Class systems as well as college surroundings are good.
Good supportive teachers are present and they support as like our mother.

Dislikes

Staff in the account section are not good as they don't give correct explanation to our questions.
We cannot vaccate from hostel or bus as we want they focus on money.
Hostel food is not nice and not at all clean.

Course Curriculum Overview

Civil engineering is a nice degree and it has many scope like structural analysis, quantity surveying, environmental engineering etc. They have better scope for foreign countries with high salary. They also have government related jobs like Assistant engineer, Junior Engineer etc.

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities for civil was less as compared to computer science. We done Internship on PWD and we could study more about the civil structures and also practicals in civil engineering. So the Internship help me to get more knowledge.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees may differ from different colleges. college may have 25000 inr for sem fees while others have 50000 inr in another college. In my college, each student have different fees structure and it was a vast college but have poor facilities in cleaning etc.

Campus Life

Infrastructure of college was very nice as it is well enhanced with nature and promotes a better environment to the students. They have some ceremony like itiha which was a nice program and lot of celebrity will come there.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility was poor because food was very unhealthy and cleaning was not proper.5650 inr for one month which is not a good amount for this types.They also don't allow us to take home outside for rent at the middle of the sem.

Hostel Fee: INR 75000 per year

Admission

Addmission procesa was ok and they looked after our 10th and 12th results and our entrance marks and provide admission. We need to give amount for admission like caution deposit admission fees etc.

Faculty

Faculty members in my civil engineering are very supportive and they encourage us very deeply inorder to achieve good marks.Our class advisor will look after our all matters and will help us.All staff in our batch are very supportive as well as HOD.

An honest college review

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester students become eligible for placements. The top recruiters in it sectors are Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, Tata Elxsi, Accenture, Oracle, Amazon, Wipro, UST GLOBAL, IBM. The top recruiters in other sectors are Mu Sigma, Ernst and young,, federal Bank, h and r block. Most of the placement are in it and related sectors. The average package is 4 to 6 lpa.The highest package is 34 lpa in Amazon. In 2024, 35 percent of students got placed. I will look to get campus placement in a reasonable package or I will try to get jobs by other means.

Campus placements are highly volatile taking the stats from over the past three years there has been an up trend as well a down trend, I hope I will get placed through on campus interviews, the highest package of this year was for two graduates who got into IBM with 22 lakhs per aanum, there are few who didn't get into any of the companies while there were others who got int Amazon and other reputated companies, if I do not get into a reputed company through my college on campus placements the. College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

My review about RIET

I gave three options during my optional registration process. First is my current college and other is vkct and govt college attingal. But the first allotment I got admission at my current college so I took here as because of good reviews and food facilities. I enquired about the other colleges in my locality and my neighbouring places I got very good reviews. I think this college has more development and provides more intership programs IVs and more companies for placements comparing with other colleges. Our college supports startups and gave financial support for startups if needed But this is not in other colleges This is why I chose this college for my BTech degree.
