Course Curriculum Overview

4

Curriculum was good and kind of helpful for futuer studies especially for the subject economics as they opted such topics which really helped me to understand the world of trade, business and economy of the national as well as the world international business management, inflation, ressession and depression of the economy and many more aspects of public and private sectors and public service and taxes it all really helped me alot. Course were divided into semester and internal test was also there to boost up the preparation for the semester exams one thing i like to say here is that they can improve in a way that by removing their assignment and can add more viva as viva is more approaching for examination purpose and writing viva is waste of time as it it does not provide anything to gain

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of my collage was bit higher than the main campus that is university of Allahabad as Ewing christian college is a autonomous body of the central university and they also provide scholarship for different courses yet they have reservations for different sections of the society and according to that they have designed their fee structure and cut off of the entrance of various courses they offer. One of the scholarship was from Mahindra group which provides a amount of 10000 for the students who score above 80 percent in the year and one of the scholarship was from the government side which returns 70 percent of the fees yearly and yearly they host a camp of workshop of placements in the new building where companies reached out to the deserving candidates and offer them job opportunities.

Campus Life

Overall it was a awesome journey and wonderful experience of mine over their as that college was full of activities and was very happening for the students, there were student council and a president of the college was elected every year by the students but they use to conduct an indirect election for the same and three libraries were there and a huge collection book was present and students have full access to those by using their Library card and many clubs were also present which use to run by students and teachers both like drama dance , debate science arts and many more. Every year a annual function use to happen by the side of the college which is organised by the students and freshers and farewell use to arrange by the students itself.

Admission

In order to get a addmission in that college a form has to be filled by the candidate and a entrance exam is being conducted and then a cut-off release and according to that students get admitted, they provide both types of form online as well as off line and around 800 a form cost and 5% reservation was guven to christian students and then the common reservation system is being followed by the college for different cast and tribe. The level of entrance was medium not too difficult ti attempt nor very easy to crack a moderate preparation is need to ceack the entrance. Yet they have limited seats in some subjects like psychology and philosophy if any students has to grab this seat then he or she has to done his counselling session imm after declaration of the results and this session is being done online only. Its jus they need add more seats in the those subjects and need to be more fast for providing results to the students for the entrance

Faculty

There were two faculty of teachers one in permanent teachers and othere were guest faculty if i talk about the permanent faculty, they are were highly qualified and very professional and immensely knowledgeable and they were always ready to help each and every student by their services and use to guide us in every possible manner as each subject has separate department so we can reach out to the teachers at the time of any query and need and monthly assessment use to give many chances to interact with the teachers on a personal level. Each batch were divided into sections and each section has minimum 36 to 40 students and class duration was 1 hour and proper explanation and notes were provided by the teachers and guest faculty was not much experienced hence they lack in some parts of the students interactions and frequently asked questions by the students

Placement Experience:

For campus placements, 6th semester students are eligible. There are various companies which visit our campus for the campus recruitment process some of them are IDFC First Bank, Adda 24x7, Piramal Finance, etc. The highest package offered was 5 lacs and the average package as per company was 350000. 40-50 percentage of the students are getting placements in the college every year. After the BBA Degree, I am planning for the Masters Degree for better placement. |

I'd rate BA Hons English curriculum at BHU 4.5/5. Strengths: comprehensive literature coverage, language skills development, and critical thinking. Weaknesses: limited focus on contemporary literature and digital humanities. Prepares well for academics, writing, and teaching careers.

The sociology course teaches me the norms of our society and family we live in. This course will provide a vast knowledge about the society and culture and this made me to choose this course. The time given is enough to complete the course and to understand it . The exams are conducted after every six months so the difficulty level is moderate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum at Amity University is a well rounded blend of theortical principles and practical relevance that shaped my future career. There are modules like microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics and statistics that provide a strong formation for any future career opportunities in economics or finance. Additionally the presence of specialise subject like health economics, developmental economics, international trade, public policy and behavioural economics very highly appealing and something you would not find in other universities or/and government university. The inclusion of such modules got my attention because it promised to go beyond traditional economic subjects and focusing on the practical subjects that are also industry specific level of domain of economics. They were also research projects, data analysis classes, case studies throughout the three year course which allows students to apply and test their knoweldge that further enhance the value of the degree. There were also subjects like environmental sciences, psychology, communicative English which was made mandatory for students that help them shape their personality and adapt more to a corporate setting. The examination system is designed to assess the viability of skills and critically but the difficulty of exam especially towards the end of semester can create unnecessary pressure for students. There will be time that there will be last minute syllabus changes or additional chapters to be considered and there is no structured format of what you can expect in the written exam however there is a fair grading system though some students feel that instead of the exams there can be more emphasis on analytical side rather than modules that require rote learning.

Overall curriculum was good that they make proper schedules of classes and all but there was something lacking is that sometimes the professor was absent and we wasn't aware about that and sitting in that class without knowing they should inform us or make a proper arrangement for replacing of class with other teacher and also there was lacking of technology in studies I didn't remember how many times they used the projector for proper teaching.
