Course Curriculum Overview
I'd rate BA Hons English curriculum at BHU 4.5/5. Strengths: comprehensive literature coverage, language skills development, and critical thinking. Weaknesses: limited focus on contemporary literature and digital humanities. Prepares well for academics, writing, and teaching careers.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year-wise fees is Rs.9062 including the tuition fees, caution fees, registration fees, lab fees and the other compulsory charges during the course completion as per the General category... This for the BA degree and Under Graduation Diploma in Computer Application...
Campus Life
At BHU, campus life is vibrant! Annual festivals like "Malviya Mela" (Feb) and "Spandan" (Oct) showcase cultural talents. Technical fest "Technex" (Feb) promotes innovation. Library has vast collection of books/journals. Classrooms have modern facilities, WiFi, and projectors. Sports facilities include cricket, football, and basketball. Student-run clubs like "Dramatics Society" and "Music Club" enrich student life.
Admission
I chose BHU for BA Hons English due to its academic excellence, renowned faculty, and comprehensive curriculum. Rejected by DU due to not meeting cutoff. BHU's admission process was smooth, with CUET-UG as the preferred exam.
Faculty
Plenty of processors are available for every course who are very supportive and kind. The best faculty according to me is the faculty of English. I like their way of teaching, especially of Dr. Sangeeta Jain
Night Life
BHU nightlife is relaxed! Campus gates close at 10 PM. Favorite hangouts: Lanka market, cafeterias, library (till 8 PM), gym (till 8 PM). Students unwind with group studies, movies, indoor games. Locality is generally safe.
