Remarks

The extra assignment always fed, so I won't make any comments over these. Here you will get a decent college life but it can't be said about the nightlife of college, yaa there are some restrictions but it can be Avoided. Overall if you want nit or iit but felling short of marks, you can get here.

Entrance Preview

I didn't score that well then I could get IIT or nit so I opted to choose any state engineering colleges and landed here. But it is top-ranked engineering college in state after IIT Indore and nit Bhopal and it justifies this achievement. So I do not regret to get here.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The syllabus provided by the college also have references for course materials, and also here is a big library, so u won't feel any difficulty to get the course materials. Every core subjects have practicals and theory part so you will have to study both well if you want to score well.

Internships Opportunities

Generally, in the first-year college doesn't provide an internship. In the second year and afterward you will get some chances for the internship offered by different firms, but you will have to be enough qualified for that. I suggest you find an internship yourself.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placement here is pretty good and some of the best among the state engineering colleges. If you study well throughout the engineering, you will end by getting one or more job offers. And even if you are not a bright student, you will have all the chance to sit in placement tests. The average placement package is different for different branches. The overall average placement is approx 3.75 lpa.

College Events

4

For the first year, there are so many events which are organized by different clubs in the college, almost every weekend. For first-year students, the college also organizes an introduction ceremony workshop. The College's annual fest is "AAYAM" which is organized every year in February. Is is a 5-7 day fest where you will find many interesting things and events.

Fees and Financial Aid

Here is a scholarship section, you will also get a scholarship as per the different scholarship schemes. The college doesn't provide any scholarship, as per my knowledge.

Campus Life

4

The campus life here is pretty good, but the campus is not that large as it is in any IIT or nit, but it is well managed. The college is in middle of City,so reaching here is not a tough task. Gender ratio is pretty nice it is about 70:30 to male: female. Labs here are exceptional and very well managed and are some of the best across India. Here are many science and cultural clubs, and so are the competition conducted by the clubs. Overall it is a nice experience.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Here you will get a hostel also based on merit. The hostel is pretty good and it is better to be in the hostel then taking a room near a college. Hostel support is decent and you will have to share the room with one student. The mess food here is exceptional and very good.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network of this college is amongst the best around India, the alumni of this college are almost in every industry of India and you will delight meeting them.

Exam Structure

This college is and autonomous college and it is certified by RGPV, it follows the same exma patterns. In each semester there would be two or more mid-sem tests. Then there would be practical internals exams. And then there would be final exams or end semester exams. After end sem, there would be final practicals or externals. You will have to perform well in all these to get good pointers.

Admission

While studying in 12th, I gave a Joint entrance exam, which I think is required by all the engineering institute of India, I wanted to make it to IIT or at least nit, but I didn't score good in jee, so opted for State engineering college. After 12th, I applied for dte counseling and select this college as a first priority, so got admission there as per the merit then took admission here in Information technology.

Faculty

4

One thing is best about the college is that the faculties here is very supportive and helpful. All of the teachers are Highly qualified and experienced they will teach you everything from the course if you attend lectures regularly, you won't find any difficulty related to course, moreover, if you have any questions or need any further information, you can ask the faculties any time after classes.

Placement Experience:

At the end of 2nd year, companies like goldman sachs comes to take interns. For placements students become eligible from 6th or 7th semester. In recent years goldman sachs is the biggest recruiter, oracle and Deloitte have also recruited, other firms like tcs and infosys also come. Giants like Amazon and google have stopped visiting since few years. Last year highest package was 72 lpa to an ece student. Average lies around 8 lpa. In tech branch 70-80% students are placed. In lower branches 50-60% students are placed. My plan is also to get placed at a decent package after completion of course.
