Course Curriculum Overview

5

I have choosen this course because my aim was to become an electrical engineer and work in very good company. Curriculum of this college is very good as in first year all subjects are taught and basics of every field is given including chemistry and cyber security also. Frequency of exam is that in 6 months of semester 3 times exams are taken along with many quizzes and practical so basically in every 45-50 days exams are conducted.

Placement Experience

4

Students are eligible from 7th semester to get placed and many companies visits every year for placement and approx 60-70% students gets placement every year.As per my knowledge there is no company which has made no offer.Average package is about 6-7 lakhs per annum. My plan is to take good package from on campus placement drive. If I am unable to get this then I will try for off campus placement and I also want to do MTECH after graduating.

Fees and Financial Aid

First year fees is 163700 including all the things like admission charge, caution money, tution fees etc. From second year onwards 125000 per year Fees structure is same for all accept NRI and some other special cases. Scholarships are available like MEDHAVI CHHATRA YOJANA,OBC/ST/SC POSTMETRIC SCHOLARSHIP and Various other scholarship which are available on internet

Campus Life

In college there is huge library in which you can sit and study for 12 hours from 8am-8pm and you can also issue a book from there and submit later. Many fests and club events are conducted in every month.Like Bandish and NSS club are conducting fests and club events. There are lots of clubs for enhancing your extra curricular activities. 3 large grounds are there and It has volleyball court, basketball court, football stadium, cricket stadium, badminton court and many others games also where you can play after your classes.

Admission

I have applied for many government colleges via MPDTE counselling after giving JEE MAINS EXAM and from counselling I got this college and taken admission in this college.I have also applied in some private colleges of MP but when I got government college so I preferred to study in government college over private college. Eligibility to take admission in this college is JEE MAINS qualified and he need to participate in MPDTE counselling and get this college.Admission process is very easy. You just need to report to college after getting allotment from counselling with all your documents and fees. And they will verify all documents and submit photocopy of those documents and you need to pay fees and get admission.

Faculty

5

Facilities are too good, talented and supportive.I like every teacher because whenever at any moment I need help in studies or practical they help.Exams are conducted three times in one semester.Firstly Minor-1 then Minor-2 and then finally Major exams.Along with these exams quizzes are also there.Exams are of moderate level some questions are easy and some are tough. Only those students fails to clear exam who are irregular in class or not study properly for exams.

Night Life

5

It has hostel for 1st year boys only and for girls it has hostel for 1st to 4th year girls.Timing for outing is from 7am to 6pm in winter and 7am-7pm in summers and winters. In hostel every essential things are provided. Nearby college many gym are located and just outside of main gate of college there is Tealogy cafe where we can spend our time and there is one Aryan Rail Restuarant which is based on train based restaurant theme. Nearby college every area is safe to roam at night because many police vehicles are there on Gole Ka Mandir Square and college is just 100 metre away from gole ka mandir. Some hotels and restaurants are also open at night to visit there and spend some time.

Placement Experience:

In my college, students become eligible for campus placements from the pre-final year itself (generally from the 5th or 6th semester), which gives them ample time to prepare and participate in the recruitment process. The placement cell of the college is highly active and dedicated, consistently bringing in a wide range of reputed companies from different sectors such as IT, core industries, finance, and consulting. Every year, numerous well-known companies visit the campus and collectively make a significant number of offers, ensuring that students get diverse career opportunities. The college has an impressive placement record, with competitive salary packages offered across various profiles. The highest package offered has been remarkably attractive, reflecting the quality of students and training provided, while the average package is also quite satisfactory and ensures a stable start to students’ careers. The roles offered range from technical positions like software developer and engineer to non-technical roles such as management trainee and analyst, giving students flexibility based on their interests and skills. A good percentage of students secure placements every year, which clearly highlights the strong industry connections and the effectiveness of the training and placement cell. The college also provides continuous support in terms of aptitude training, mock interviews, personality development sessions, and skill enhancement programs, which significantly boost students’ confidence and employability. As far as my future plans are concerned, after completing my degree, I aim to secure a good position through campus placement in a reputed organization where I can apply my knowledge, gain practical experience, and grow professionally. In the long term, I aspire to enhance my skills further and achieve a responsible position in my field, contributing meaningfully to the organization and society. Overall, the placement opportunities and career support provide

Placement Experience:

Placements are based on the training as some students opt out. The companies these days have an assessment test and it's because of that they choose the candidates. That is followed by an interview and our department prepares us for that and those who does well or showcase themselves well get in excess of 10 lakhs easily.

After the vivid there we see a lack of placement opportunities in branches . But , Because of college reputation you will easily get hired in various companies offcampus for high branches . There is lack of opportunities in core branches . Although the avarage package offered is about 4lpa to 6lpa for higher branches and a highest is about 52 lpa (2 years ago) . After getting the degree mostly students go for masters and also in IIT's or NIT'S for higher studies .
