Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum is well-balanced. As I'm in CSE, it's really important to learn the coding languages and even from the first semester, onwards they give us a lot of variety and classes to learn C+, Python, Web development, etc. From 2nd year, the course becomes more CSE central which is even better.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

After the first year, you have to do a mandatory one-week internship that is conducted. You do not get money from this but just a certificate. External opportunities are if you do well in these and people recognise your potential then you can get a good internship given you have the required skill.

Placement Experience

3

Campus placements are started once you reach the 3rd year or your 5/6th semester. You need to maintain a specific cgpa and not have any backlogs in order to have a chance of being placed. The percentage of students getting a place here is over 80%. If you are unable to get placed, the best option is to expand your CV and apply for jobs using LinkedIn, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fee is 281000. The fees per year are not massive for a college of this stature but if you are looking to go through management then needless to say it can be very expensive. If there is a change in fee amounts that is and should be informed to us in prior. There are government scholarships.

Campus Life

3.5

There are Tech fests from time to time and an annual fest is known as Udbhav that is held once a year. The facilities in the classroom are good with AC and a projector. Many groups like Enterpreunishio cell, Astro club, etc. are there which are student run and anyone can join them as long as they pass the student-conducted interviews. Sports events also occur every semester which are held branch vs branch.

Admission

Eligibility of the course is pretty difficult. You either need to have a pretty good rank for eg less than 1000 in comedk to get into CSE. I got in through management which was paying a lot of money. The admission process was smooth and short and I don't feel needs any changes. The timing of exams and their difficulty is also pretty good. Exams are not too difficult.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty that I have experienced till now seem to have good knowledge of their respective subjects. Always ready to clear doubts and take extra classes if/when needed. From time to time you might find 1 or 2 strict faculty but they just want the best for you. The interaction between students and teachers is really good as well.

Placement Experience:

campus placements in the collage usually start during the final year, and students generally become eligible from the 7th semester depending on their academic performance and eligibility criteria set by companies . The placement cell in the collage helps students by organizing placements drives, aptitude training, and career guidance sessions. varies companies visit the campus every year mainly from IT, Service, and some core engineering sectors. Companies such as TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and other mid-level organizations have visited for recruitment in previous years . the average package offered to students is usually around 4LPA to 10LPA depending on the company and job role, while the highest package may very each year based on the recruiting companies . A reasonable percentage of students secure placements through campus recuitment, while some studies or look for opportunities outside campus placements. after completing the degree, my plan is to build strong techical skills and pursue opportunities in the core engineering.

Placements in our college are pretty good with the average package being around 10 lakhs. Our college provides comprehensive training to prepare us for placments by conducting training over 2 months for both technical rounds as well as non-technical aptitude rounds. Mock interviews are conducted in order to prepare us for the real interviews.
