Course Curriculum Overview
It has a lot of scope and opportunites. It has a lot of practical subjects that prepare us for industry experiences. The teaching methods can be improved by incorporating more involvement and more practicals and also visits to other cyber cells in the industry. Exams are held every month and final sem exams are held after 3 such periodic tests ; the difficulty od these exams range from moderate to hard.
Internships Opportunities
comapnies- mercedes , secure , palo alto networks , esecurify roles - security analyst , security researcher . tasks are assigned to continuous monitor the network and also various other tasks. All the tasks assigned during the internship are monitored by your mentor or lead for your performance and later stipend is provided based on this and other aspects.
Placement Experience
from the 6th sem. mercedes , secure , esecurify . highest package - 24LPA and avg package - 8LPA almost 90 % (can be lower or higher as we are not informed about these numbers). My plan is to get a job from the college or outside from it and gain more knowlegde regarding my area of speciality.
Fees and Financial Aid
No such increase in the eduaction fees (as of 2024) cost of education for 4 years - 11.08 L Financial aids can be acquired through education loans and scholarships by your perfoemance in competitive exams such as JEE,MHTCET. Internships are compulsory from the 1st year in college and stipend is paid based on your performance.
Campus Life
Fests are organised once every year (major) and other fests are organised by various departments (minor). Lots of books are available in the library and sorted according to the departments. Projectors and smart use of classrooms. Sports and other fests are organised for competition and fun. Rotract is one such group that is running in the college.
Admission
12th pass with 80+ percentage. All the required info can be found on sspu.ac.in / its official website (search 'sspu college'). I dont personally know about any reservation benefits as I have not availed for any of those. Frequency is every month for the whole sem and difficulty is moderate to hard. Crowd management and clearance in the steps to be taken should be improved.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is around one teacher to many student and the learning is more involving. The faculties are msotly PhD professors from other uni and completed there PG from foreign uni. We are allowed to interact with the faculty during and even after the college hours for any queires or issues.
