Teaching here is average. Professors here are kind and they only want better and better for students yah its a good thing . And they use english ,hindi and even regional language so that students can understand everything properly

Internship is compulsory here . In 3rd sem you have to complete your summer internship and submit your report . And in 5th and 7th sem you have to go for industrial intetnship . And i think if you really have skills you can go in big companies for internships.

Placements here is pretty decent . Every year from every department get placed with decent package .The average package is around 3 to 4 lakh per year . And highest upto 9 lpa. Alumini network is pretty strong hete for departments like civil engineering and mechanical engineering.

Fees here is not so high . And many schoolships are available here You can apply for pragati scholarship, ishan uday scholarship, ongc scholarship and many more . Students can also get financial help more alumini .

Every year there is a cultural feast PYROKENISIS (4 days ) in AEC in the month of February. Books is provided to every students from library . And also clubs like dance club , jam club , mukha club and many more is here in AEC for self development and i think its a good Infrastructure is not that good as people expected .

There are total 9 hostels in AEC 8 hostels for boys and 1 girls hostel . In hostel they provide bed , table and chair which is enough I think . Mess here is not good. You have to bring your electric kettle and induction if you dont want to eat mess food here

Admissions here is not so difficult. They have to give CEE ( common entrance exam ) for AEC and to get in other engineering colleges in assam . They also accept student with their JEE marks . Students from others state can also take admission here

All faculties or maxium faculties have done their phd from very reputed iits and universities. Some have also done the undergraduate from AEC itself . And thats why professors here are approachable for help in academics
