- You have to study many subjects not related to the branch in first year,Thankfully the new scheme is creating a chamge into it.
- During summer it is very hot and unbearable
- The college canteen has very few number of options
Course Curriculum Overview
LBS college is under the apjktu The curriculum has been updated from this year onwards The university has introduced a new scheme of Curriculum.The Semester exam happens every six months and internal occur 2 times in a semester.The laboratories are very well occupied for the course

Fees and Financial Aid
The College works under The government of kerala so it has a very decent fee structure The fee can vary depending on the seat type you get admissions.The merit seat is ?35000 per year which can accumulate upto 42+K when adding the exam fees and pta funds,The management quota is 65K per year with exam fees and all it increases to 72+k And the NRI Quota demands 1 lakh per year as the Fees Hostel and Mess charges may vary from 4000 to 6000 Travel Charges :- College bus fees is very affordable

The festivals are often conducted by the college union arts and sports are conducted annually Library has wide range of books with vast varieties library also has magazines and newspapers you can also read books online here There are many social clubs and activities like NSS,IEEE and other social clubs wirking in the college
Admission
To get admission you should study 10+2 with PCM.After that you can apply for the kerala entrance examination and if you come under 50 k ranklist you can get admission to the course You can also get admission to the remaining seats through management quota or NRI quota You can get fee waivers if get high scores in the entrance exams You can apply through the college Site

Faculties depends on the department you choose The faculties of Civil Engineering Department is very friendly and highly qualified.Most of the faculties have a good knowledge in their respective field of teaching.
