Course Curriculum Overview

I am studying this course offering by kerala technical university and it follows relevent topics and included sylaabus is really useful for our developing technical society.its really help the students to compete well in the society with their skills and knowledge.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 35000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The college provides some internship opportunities. But i prefer so many companies are also recuiting for internship in online .4th year academics consist of group projects and survays. Main companies are Qburst and TATA

Placement Experience

From 5th semester students become eligible for campus placement. Federal bank,tata, Qburst,techno etc are the main recuyers here. Average package is almost 45000 and the highest package is around 1 lakh.Almost 55% of whole students get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Annually merit seat should pay 35000 and management seat required 65000.The campus placement cell is very effective.Hostel bills are very friendly to our budget. All goverment scholerships also private scholerships are going well here.

Campus Life

Avaza,lavaz,digili etc are the main programs held here.Arts program Dijili held on february was very great. The College provides a large library facility and it consists of more than 20,000 books related to our corses.Almost classrooms are smart and under CCTV cameras.It also support non curriculum and we have chamipons in university level .

Hostel Facilities

First years have separate hostels for their convenience. Rooms are well cleaned and consist of two peoples . Good toilet facilities and nice atmosphere for our studies.Food is greaat and mess bill is really budget frirndly.

Hostel Fee: INR 4000 per year

Admission

The student must be clear plus two with almost good grades and write entrance exam well.Kerala Entrance exam score is the basis of admission. Reservations ate there as per our caste,religion etc. KEAM will publish a list basis of our entrance score and as per that we can choose our college based on our eligibility.

Faculty

Well qualified teachers and alweys willing to help and provide guidelines for academic and non academic activities. Friends like behaviour provide an additional good atmosphere for study and it helps really well.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.

Is engineering here worth it?

Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
