Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum help us to prepare for real-world applications or further pursuits.The projects and assignments they give improve the course curriculum and teaching methods. When it comes to the exam it is always difficult the timing and the courses are always hard

Class Size: 64Course Fees: INR 42230 per year

Internships Opportunities

Infosys, Qburst, Polycab , Panasonic are the main companies that offer intership in our college. The roles offered are software engineer and web development etc. I don't know about their projects , iam in my 3 rd semester so I don't know the all details of internship

Placement Experience

Placements of my college is actually very good, in past 5 years placements were given to almost all effective students There is no problem regarding placements, this year mechanical engineering department got more placements than computer science

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee increased 2 thousand this year it is that much, there no sudden rate hike. The complete cost of our education is around 3 lakh, all scholarship is available. When it comes to the placement lbs is improving more effectively in these years, 150 students placed past year

Campus Life

There are many festivals in our college, Christmas,Onam , Diwali etc are main festivals that we enjoy. The Library our college is best in the whole district, all type of books are available there. Sports and extracurricular activities always active

Admission

Admission process is very simple not that hard. Eligibility is plustwo science pass. Application form gets from the college office. the frequency and timing of exams is not that hard, but exams are very hard always

Faculty

All faculty members have the best qualifications in best colleges, there is no issue regarding their educational qualifications, but non of them want to teach that's the truth. Some teachers are very kind and supportive

OUR COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Main companies visiting the campus are IBM , TCS ,TATA ELXSI,L&T, Cognizant,Toshiba,Vanenburg,Kalkitech,Sobha,Mrf ,Juspay,Dynolt and many more. 70 % students get placement Highest package is 16 lpa and average is 5 lpa After degree higher studies can be considered.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.

Is engineering here worth it?

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

The student must be clear plus two with almost good grades and write entrance exam well.Kerala Entrance exam score is the basis of admission.
