Course Curriculum Overview

Our collage always clears the syllables before the exam, it is one of the best thing especially for me. I personally liked mechanical and passionate about cars so i have chosen the course. The faculties here will help us to complete the syllables before the main exams.

Class Size: 34Course Fees: INR 20000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

There are scholarship's available for the students who have high marks on PCM subject in plus two ie;physics, chemistry, &mathematics. The fees should be completed at the starting of the semester. The placement are little dull nowadays mainly for the core branches such as mechanical, civil, electricall..

Campus Life

The campus life mine is yet to be over, till now i had a beautiful memories with my friends. The surrounding of the collage is also a beautiful to remembered. The support to the non academic things are low in the collage.

Admission

The eligibility for tge courses are +2. And if you have cleared kerala entrance or JEE exams ypu have an upper hand to the other students for the scholarships. Application procedure are clearly available at the collage official site.

Faculty

The faculty member's here are more qualified compared to nearby collages. Most of the faculty here cleared GATE exams so they are more eligible for the position. Most of them are always supports us for our future.

IIIT KOTTAYAM - a Honest review

Placement Experience:

As seniors said the average package is around 10lpa.If you have descent skills and above 8 cgpa you will get this average package. If you upskill yourself with effort which many students do here then you can also get above 15lpa which many seniors got.The highest package was off-campus by an ECE Student in Google despite having cgpa around 6.He had very good skills as a full stack developer.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.

The length of course curriculum is very short. It is very difficult for both students and teachers to complete the syllabus in limited time period.The exam timing are also very conjusted and students are facing many difficulties because of it .

IIST - A good campus to live but with high restrictions.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is there in the campus.A lot of companies visit to the campus. From this year more private companies are visiting because of the breaking of bond with ISRO due to which students are getting good package.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

I had applied for this course in several colleges in banglore and other places. The reason which hold me here is the course affordability and good infrastructure provided by this college. This college offers BTech artificial intelligence and Data Science at the rate of 98500 per year as tution fees while other colleges offer this same course around 200000 tution fee per year which is a better reason for studying this college. The college also provide scholarships for students on the basis of their plus two marks and keam ranks which will cover their entire tuition fee which helps the students to study in a cost effective way and also increase the quality of education.
