- I also didnot like the size of campus as it is really huge and sometimes feels really tiring to be nomading at that hot summer day
- I hate the fact that there are lot of stray animals even in our hostels
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum in the first year was very basic and mostly resembles the highschool curriculum apart from the fact that even though the topic is same but the concepts are deeper and more vast. I feel the online availability of the courses and the slides have made the curriculum complete as now there is no further need to get stuck in case of missing a class
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution fees is the only visible con in this college which is already 2.5 lakhs and likely to increase 5 to 10 percent each year. There are scholarship available but only for toppers(9.5 +)cgpa or the needy students which is the mcn
Campus Life
There are 3 fests in total - 1) Bosm - the sports fest of bits pilani which is held in the month of sept with a good level of participants from across the nation 2 )Oasis - It is the 2 nd largest cutural fest in Asia. Due to the vibe and atmosphere it brings.Everything whether it be concerts ,fashion shows,comedy shows,prom night and much more. 3)Apogee-the technical fest ,with a huge participation of tech teams across the nation. Held in april every year.
Admission
The admission process seems fair which is through a cbt exam called bitsat and there the marks cutoffs for the respective branches to get in. Application form can be found in jan on the official bits website. There is no resevation for girls and other castes. Exams is conducted 2 times a year in april and june in multiple shifts.
Faculty
I feel the faculty to student ratio is pretty good and also the faculty members are really good at their subjects. The learning experience is very raw as the student themselves need to serious noone would spoonfeed them fo study.I interact to the professors atleast once a week maybe for doubts or any other personal project related helps.
