Course Curriculum Overview

4

Doing MBBS was always in my planning. Being a doctor and helping others. The opportunities provided here always help in facing real-life situations. Exams are taken very often and the question papers provided are always the level of professionals.

Internships Opportunities

4

Everyone has to do a compulsory one-year rotatory intership. The internship is paid you get a good amount of stipend for it. After that one can apply in the hospital itself for housestaffships, or proceed towards the PG preparations.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee for the state quota is 3 lakhs per semester and for the management quota is 9 lakhs per semester and it increases by 50k every 2 years for new admissions only. Government scholarships are provided and accepted. The campus provides housestaffships.

Campus Life

4

Campus life is good. The co-curricular activities are done every now and often with proper balance with studies. Fests and annual sports are done every year. There are a lot of pre-fest activities done. A grand Freshers welcome for the junior batch is done.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostels are very student-friendly. The mess charges are separate. You pay accordingly for the food you have. The mess food is average like every other college. Registration for a hostel is done at the beginning of the admission and you can withdraw anytime you like.

Admission

Admission is done by the whole WBUHS counseling process. You have to apply for counseling and get selected accordingly. Eligibility is admission is done by NEET rankings and subjects are PCB in 12th boards.

Faculty

4

Number of faculties are adequate for the students. Each department has 1 HoD, 3 assistant professor and pg tutors. And all the faculties are very helpful towards the students in all aspects including study or any other related things. The faculties are always available for you during the college hours and after that via social networking sites

Interview Experience

4.5

There is no such other admission test. The only test you have to give is the all-India-based entrance exam that is NEET and once you get selected for it you have to just go and complete the procedure in the given time duration and get your documents verified.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is completely based on NMC new guidelines. Along with the theory classes where we know the structure and their working in dissection we actually see them on cadaver . Lectures should be more interesting as it's get boring to literally listen the concepts for first time like a story and at the end we forget everything

Course Curriculum Overview:

Medical field is a really good field in my opinion to serve humankind and learn about science of nature and life!the curriculum is a little overpaced and there are 19 subjects which are taught in a timespan of 4.5 years which is a bit hectic! There are 4 professional exams and 9 semesters which have pretty good difficulty and assess our skills and education. We have regular examinations in around 4-5 months each. Only thing id like to change in the curriculum is better assessment of many topics which are taught pretty well but aren't examined much leading us to waste our time in focussing on them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well, mbbs is very hard and long term process. You will be bored in 1st year because you cant get real clinical cases. But in Final year, 3rd Prof Part 2, you will get huge pressure. Because there are total 11 subjects, you should study in final year. It is a great burden for all. I'm not satisfied with Nmc curriculum. They are not thinking about students. They are implement their rules in chilled ac room. But they don't know the real scenarios.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is quite planned and great and has a lot of advantages in having a clinical and learning diagnostic approach to various diseases. One area where the curriculum can improve is by having more practical classes rather than theoretical classes. The exams are quite difficult but are quite planned to make you understand the clinician and the passing percentage is 50 percent.
