Likes

Education process is really righteous. Guidance is proper and exam oriented.
The environment is subtle enough for studies... With no outside disturbances
Proper transportation availability... Located in a populous area... So transport facility is available even at late hours. Transport to nearest metro city, kolkata is very smooth and many options (train, bus, rental cars) all are available.

Dislikes

A bit more hygiene is required... Hope so in coming days these problems gets solved.

Practical course... Medical college is not something to be compared with any other course. You will learn patience, perseverance. Curriculum quite vast. Exam level- quite comprehensive, hard to medium.

Internships Opportunities

Intership is an integrated part of our 5.5 year MBBS course and is compulsory. So, everyone does this and nobody has to apply for it separately. This is the last and integral part of MBBS COURSE without which you cannot get a degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure: 25-80lacs depending on quota(state /management) for 5.5 yrs (Changes yearly) Hostel fees = 70k yearly ( not compulsory to take) After completion of 4.5 yrs, 1 yr of internship compulsory for completion of course. After completion you are eligible to work as a Doctor.

Hostel rooms will be provided with fan bed pillow table and cupboard Meal is nice and affordable enough and also hygeinic enough. Application form- Available at WBMCC APPLICATION FEES- Varies year to year, also for STATE and MANAGEMENT QUOTA (25-80 LACS) Reservation benefits: Can't say, I don't have reservation. Exams and syllabus completed in time according to NMC GUIDELINES Overall environment- Very good for education, not an isolated place, quite happening and busy neighborhood Patient flow good(ofc not as government medical college) but quite satisfying. ????

Course Curriculum Overview:

Medical field is a really good field in my opinion to serve humankind and learn about science of nature and life!the curriculum is a little overpaced and there are 19 subjects which are taught in a timespan of 4.5 years which is a bit hectic! There are 4 professional exams and 9 semesters which have pretty good difficulty and assess our skills and education. We have regular examinations in around 4-5 months each. Only thing id like to change in the curriculum is better assessment of many topics which are taught pretty well but aren't examined much leading us to waste our time in focussing on them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well, mbbs is very hard and long term process. You will be bored in 1st year because you cant get real clinical cases. But in Final year, 3rd Prof Part 2, you will get huge pressure. Because there are total 11 subjects, you should study in final year. It is a great burden for all. I'm not satisfied with Nmc curriculum. They are not thinking about students. They are implement their rules in chilled ac room. But they don't know the real scenarios.

The course curriculum is quite planned and great and has a lot of advantages in having a clinical and learning diagnostic approach to various diseases. One area where the curriculum can improve is by having more practical classes rather than theoretical classes. I choose this college because this is nearer from my house ????.. After clearing the cut off of current NEET exam , we can take part in counciling procedures with putting your desired college's name .
