Likes

DU offers courses at a very low fees compared to others
There's no attendance issue in some of Du colleges. Almost every college..
If you're from outside Delhi and want to enjoy, take ddmission in du

Dislikes

Reservation system of seat are very bad..
Some of the colleges of Du doesn't offer a good infrastructure
Some colleges doesn't have a good fest . Only North campus is good

If you're anywhere from india and you want to do B.A or B.com from a high ranking college with a low fees and good campus life .you can come at DU. Especially for B.A I will suggest choose DU. Du offers you a variety of courses

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 7500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee vary different of every college. Bcom min.fees is ?6500 per year and max is ?25000 per year in colleges of du. Off campus fees is low compared to North Same goes for BA courses ..they are just quite cheap than bcom If you're from Kashmir you will get more benefits. There's also many scholarships for those who can't support that fees.

Every College of DU vary their own and unique campus life . DU campus life often known for its political environment and a student election called DUSU. Every college has their own annual fest held every year on their college

Admission

Well admission process is quite lengthy it's not easy .. admission process takes upto 2-3 month or more.. they released their admission round list in every 2-3 week during admission process.. For getting admission in DU you have to give CUET exam and fill the form of Du on CSAS portal . If you want bcom score more than 650+ ( general) so you can easily get admission

Faculty

There's one thing is the faculty if DU is very good expect some colleges where teacher started fighting with students. Otherwise it's good .. you will get faculty of every course like commerce ,arts etc.

I have heard that only 1-2% of the students got placement in our college and they have average package of 7LPA and final year students are eligible for the placements held in our college.as first I will try of make my cgp good and to be selected in the interview for the placement try my best if not i will be doing further studies for my masters

A students insight on his college

Placement Experience:

Eligibility is 5th semester onwards you can get campus placement. Deloitte, TATA, nestle, other big MNC's Highest is around 20 lacs and average is around 5 lacs. 60-70 % students get places but it can be higher or lesser depending upon the crowd of students , their talents. I think I would choose a professional course like civil servant.

Curriculum is old and rigid, the still teach old methods and syllabus is updated very slow. But with introduction of SEC and VAC courses student have some different options which the can choose to study for their semester.

Dyal Singh College is definitely a great college!!

Placement Experience:

PWC, Icici Prudential and like wise companies which needed students for finance and accountancy roles offers placements to students. Many new startups too have started coming and this has made placements percentage shoot up in recent past.

Placement Experience:

From 8th semester students become eligible for campus placements I am not sure about the number of offers made but last year Deloitte visited the campus for recruitment. Highest package is around 11lpa plz check on Google. And average is around 5-6 lpa. Seniors told me around 30-40% of the batch gets placement. My plan is to do mba after college

It's a decent college, but better than many other colleges

Placement Experience:

Final year students(5th semester) are eligible for the placements, many famous company recruits, like Deloitte, flipkart,amazon and there's many local companies as well. The highest pakage in 2024 was 24LPA. 20-30% students gets the placement as most of the students opt for Higher studies or get into competitive exams. The jobs offered are based on your course.

Placement Experience:

After the graduation the students are Eligible for the placement and internship are provided in the same during graduation or courses. And some of the good companies which visited and made the offers. The average package of the company offered that 1 lakh approx in the placements this opportunity starts in du also now the good student can do this. Getting a 90% Above Mark's . After completing my graduation I will take admission in maters also. And also prepare the government exam's.
