Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is quite impressive and good. It is easy and doable for all the students. It emphasize on increasing the knowledge of the students and active learning is its main objective. Exams are also very normal and from the syllabus. And timing of exams is quite reasonable.

Internships Opportunities

3

There are two months given to the students for internship. January and july after each sem . Either students can take internship given to them by internship and placement cell of the University or by themselves. Internship in ngo's , under various lawyers and judges and in different companies.

Placement Experience

3.5

1st batch is passed this year and many students get pre-placement offers from companies like Khaitan and Co. And many other profound companies in the legal field. Many students get placed after completing their degree Most of the students are preparing for different judiciary examinations and some students are likely to clear the exam Ppo starts from the 9th or 10th sem There is a cell for this specific work - internship and placement cell which work actually works better than we all thought.

Fees and Financial Aid

It's fees is quite abnormal and little bit high according to other Government universities. Its tuition fees is 42500 rs for each sem Hostel fees is 20000 rs for each sem And nearly 35000 rs for other charges like for sports ,hospital, mcc, amenties, examination etc. There is no employment opportunity for the students and scholarship is the area I am not aware of.

Campus Life

4

Library contains wide variety of books from syllabus to different thinkers and ancient hindu texts etc. Reading room is there which provide students to reading and dtuding in a peaceful environment after study hours. Different clubs and centers and committees are there which handle different section of work of university. Like EAC for events ,IPC for internship and placement , sports committee for sports ,Cultural committee for cultural activities. Different festivals are celebrated here like Holi , Diwali , Ganesh chaturthi , Janmashtami , Navratri , Shivratri and mahashivratri. Different events like DJ night , freshers ,Farewell , competition etc are held regularly. Overall social lofe is good and dynamic here.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel rooms are decent in size and quite impressive if we compare them to other Government university hostels. 20000 rs is the fee for each sem and from the session 2024, ACs are installed in every room and there is a choice either to take ac room or a non-ac room. It is a residential university and hostel taking is compulsory here. You cannot take room outside or do day scholars here. All the amenities are fine here Mess food is neither bad nor good it is decent.

Admission

The admission is done through an exam called CLAT which is an India-level examination and if you get a good rank then you will be able to secure admission here. There is a reservation for obc, sc, st , bc-a , bc- b , pwd , and ward of the person whose land is under this university. The application for CLAT is found on a consortium of nlus site and fee of CLAT is 4000rs. It is yearly exam held in December every year. This paper contain 120 ques with section of English, legal, maths, logical and gk. Time for exam is 120 mins. Its admission process is fair and conducted through consortium of nlus in 5 counselling round . After the counselling round its on university whether they announced any vacant seats or not.

Faculty

4

Faculty members are really very supportive and they promote each and every student. Motivates and guides the students. Organization of different events and conferences for students. Professors are interactive with students. Overall Most of the teachers are quite good except there are some teachers if you have a fight with them they will remember your name till the last.

For BBA.LLB course no batch has yet graduated, and the first batch to graduate is in their last academic year. We are expecting placements to start early this year, and after the graduation of our final batch, we will get a fair idea about the packages to be offered. Although IIM already has well-established placement records for other courses, it is expected to be the same for the law course

Placement Experience:

i think the students become eligible for placements from the 13th term. our first batch hasn't graduated yet. they are due to graduate in 2026. but certain law firms which have visited our college and have offered internships to our students are Khaitan & Co., Luthra, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, IndusLaw. Honestly, I have not decided yet what career i would want to pursue but yes, having a campus placement in hand definitely gives a sense of security. I may pursue an LLM after this or may enter into litigation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculam is very nice for the law subjects but for the BA subjects it can be very tiring at times. Like same concepts are repeated again and again in various subjects. E.g- Often what taught in Pol Science is same to what is taught in History, so it can be repetattive on some occasions.
