Course Curriculum Overview

4

The basic things in the course structure was to make students learn about the language it started from the basic and was taken to an advance level which people use in daily working society. Advance level education is provided in the 3rd year so that people can work easily. Many students even opt to do masters and then start teaching students. Some suggestions can be the additional courses that consume a lot time can be made a lil short in duration.

Fees and Financial Aid

As this is a State University all the students outside Uttrakhand are considered of the General category. For language courses, the fee for the general category is 17200 per semester. There is some concession of fee for the students of sc, st and ews category. CM scholarship is provided to the students who have a high merit in their respective classes.

Many clubs like dance club, theatre club, singing club etc. are there in the university students can easily be a member of them just by simple audition. There are 2 fests held in the campus Holi fest and Diwali fest and many more things keeps going on at the auditorium building.

For choosing language course anyone can apply through the official website of Doon University. Forms are out in the month of April and can be filled out from then. An exam is conducted on computers and after the exam merit list is out. A total of 3 merit lists are out and students can easily just go to the registration office and take addmission. It takes only 1 hour to do the whole process. No difficulties were faced during the addmission process.

Faculty

4.5

All the faculties are very friendly and highly qualified and have more than 5-8 years experience of teaching. They can be approached anytime through mobile phone or meetup in the office. Assignments are given time to time to make the things remeber we have done in class and the assignments are only related the things we have done in classes and will help us learn more in languages.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Tbh i was comfused what to do so for rhe mean while i decided to do BA. It doesn't, we hardly come to the college even when we did some teachers were not they and we didn't even had a group where they can notify us. Only the students who found them are in that group and they don't add you.. some kind of cult it seems. There was nothing extraordinary about the teaching and i would say even the nursery teacher are more determined to teach kids than them. We had one hour for 30 marks exam AND ONLY 2 hour for 70 marks exam and on top of that they expect us to write 4-5 pages answers and attempt even questions???!! Lets be real, i am not a robot.

When It comes to talking about the entire college I would say that The language department is the most active here. Also Placement drives are only held in the department of languages and not in any other departments which is quite unfair according to me. Management here is good.
