Course Curriculum Overview
1) The syllabus is very well compiled. 2) Theoretical as well as pratical classes are conducted . But the practical classes occurs few times in a month 3)More emphasis on practical work should be given. Case study type questions should be included.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees varies in between 30K to 40K. The student one's enrolled can apply for financial aid, in which the student has to perform shram daan for atleast 60hr. In the shram daan student can opt for any amount of work that he/she wills to do.
Campus Life
1) Annually Utsav happens, like an annual function in which students participate in various activities and games like, solo and group dance, song, volleyball, basketball, tug-of-war, mehndi competition, drawing competition, cricket, etc. 2) The library has more than 4000 books, research papers, and competitive exam books. 3) Classrooms have smart boards. 4) There are many student-led clubs in the university.
Hostel Facilities
1) Dorms (6 or 8 person) is alloted to each student. Their are 2 washroom and 2 bathrooms along with a big porshe given. 2) Each student is provided with a bed, table, chair and a cupboard in the dorm. 3) The meals prepared in the mess is very fresh and home like.
Admission
1) Students who have completed their 12th from a recognized board. 2) The application form, details about the fee structure and application dates can be found on the website of Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidylay (dsvv.ac.in). 3) The entrance exam happens one time. Their are 3 levels of entrance including interview. You need to qualify all three rounds to get slected.
Faculty
In Psychology department, the student teacher bond is great. The teachers are really helping abd supporting. They are always ready to guide you through your highs and lows. As it is a residential college, teachers are available anytime you need them.
Other Applied Colleges
Delhi University - [DU] | Bachelor of Arts [BA] (Psychology)
I did'nt opt for DU because I think that there is no sense of peace left in Delhi specially in colleges. I wanted to focus on myself in my undergrad.
